Do yourself a favor and put The Book Proposal by @kjmicciche at the top of your TBR. Just finished the audiobook, and I absolutely loved it! The narrator is fantastic and brings so much personality to the characters. Great story too! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ a.co/d/cvO3XIC

My #5amWritersClub work today was 15 minutes in a recording studio doing the intro and outro of my book. Penguin Random House offered me the job of recording the entire thing, but I’ve done that once, and never again. Bring in the true professional, @kellitager. She’s far better.
It's out! @SarahAllenBooks beautiful story of a girl's struggle with anxiety. This was honestly one of my favorite books to narrate this year (under #kelligarland). Thank you, @BlackstoneAudio for this gift. ❤️ #middlegradebooks
Finally saw this last night & it's still sitting in my soul. This is why we strike. Because mad skills like this need to be compensated fairly. Because AI could not have created this beautiful film.

Doing pick ups in studio with an engineer is just freaking dreamy. Done in ten minutes! Thanks, @amyrubinate and @mosaicaudio. ♥️

I know someone - very close to me actually - that was on a hit cable show - ran seven years - ( it could still be going)
She was paid I /7 th of the male lead - she was nominated for multiple Emmy’s and won - ( nominated for at least 3 recall ) no other person behind or in front of camera was ever nominated,
The rich ass studio rolling in money - would NOT give her a raise - after underpaying her horribly
And made her take cable guest star money - which was not 4 thousand a week in cable - but still viciously underpaid her for a long running show - who’s performance was nominated for multiple Emmy’s - as she was everyone’s favorite character - and clearly the most popular character on the show.
It was so mean she just hated the gaslighting asshole execs - and wants out of the business - as the treatment is so toxic -?
- Why did they do it -
Because they could get away with it .

I haven’t acted much as an adult, but I WAS on a recurring character on one of the most critically acclaimed animated shows of all time, as well playing an actual Disney villain.
But thanks to streaming, I have never once made enough to qualify for SAG-AFTRA healthcare.

Having a pushy Jewish family myself who, at most every family gathering, tried to set me up with some male of their choosing, I DEEPLY related to many elements of this book. Thank you so much for this one, @AuthorLBrown and @TantorAudio !
