YouTube share.google/aTiY22rBCMULIEK… US fertiliser really must come from Canada as it is no distance away and Trump cannot tariff this vital input as Inflation would rise from this dreadful idea.

For nearly two years, the U.S. has had to swallow an uncomfortable reality: A highly infectious disease it once eliminated is spreading again. More than 4,400 measles cases and at least three deaths have been reported nationwide this year, marking the country’s worst outbreak in more than three decades. The spike followed nearly 2,300 cases in 2025. But many public health experts argue that the return of measles isn’t the only concerning development — it’s also what the resurgence signals about America that’s causing alarm. More: cnb.cx/4spkfsI

$131.7B in cash sounds bottomless until you read the same S-1: $321.4B in future lease obligations, $265.6B in guaranteed commitments, plus ~$245B more signed after June. The war chest is already spoken for by compute.

Nice look at all the ETFs that hold Anthropic (largely via SPV or swaps). As a group they are seeing increased inflows. It's all very deja vu with SpaceX except there's now more products with exposure. Privates in ETFs is becoming more and more normalized every month.. via @psarofagis

Not much new/substantial here, apart from the fact that Europe clearly wants a seat at the negotiating table. The last time Putin spoke to a European leader aligned with Ukraine was more than a year ago - Macron in July 2025. #oatt #sizovreport #wheat
🚨BREAKING: Finland’s President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian PM Jonas Gahr Støre held a joint call with Russian leader Vladimir Putin today as part of international efforts to secure an end to the war in Ukraine. Full story: vist.ly/5q5tx

Is something changing in the Black Sea? Despite harsh rhetoric from Kyiv, we haven’t seen a publicly reported attack on a merchant vessel near Russian Black Sea ports for three weeks. The last one was the attack on the AFRAMAX RIO tanker near Sochi on October 6. Is this de-escalation? And what does it mean for Black Sea exports? After checking the context I realised that Lavrov was talking about information war during his meeting with African media in Moscow
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov: the war in Ukraine will continue and is likely to escalate. Lavrov has been a hawk saying versions of this for 4+ years. Nothing new here. What is interesting: zero reaction from #wheat. Yesterday wheat was supposedly selling off on “Black Sea de-escalation” headlines - which were mostly a sloppy misinterpretation of comments from Lavrov’s deputy. Today we get a clearly hawkish headline from his boss. Wheat doesn’t care. The market seem to be simply numb to Black Sea news, for now. So please, lazy analysts/journalists: stop explaining every few ticks with a word salad of “Black Sea,” “grain deal,” “negotiations,” etc. Yesterday’s move was largely driven by the broader ag sell-off amid the BRL move and extremely weak export inspections. #oatt #blacksea #sizovreport

Victorian government debt binge is crazy - ignore the made-up "net" numbers, the only thing that matters are the gross, or actual, debt figures...In 2019 Victoria’s public sector owed $54bn. By 2028 it will owe $257bn. That is $34,500 for every man, woman and child in the state, up from $8,200. The interest bill alone hits $8.9bn a year in 2026-27 and $11.8bn by the end of the decade. NSW is not far behind: $59bn to $243bn, or $27,300 a head. Queensland goes from $68bn to $184bn, $30,900 a head once you count its state-owned power and water companies. Three states, half a trillion dollars of new debt in under a decade, and the projections still have the lines pointing up. Someone has to pay for this, and it will be the next generation of taxpayers. Figures are non-financial public sector borrowings at 30 June, from state budget papers and audited outcomes; 2026 to 2028 are budget projections. #StateDebt #Victoria #NSW #Queensland #AustralianEconomy #Budget #Debt
