Horrified to read this - The Sunday Times highlighted this Creon shortage earlier this year - it could last until 2026! It is a major crisis affecting many many patients
Almost in tears at the pharmacy when told Creon is out of stock until end of the year and no alternatives available- suggested I buy it abroad but it’s expensive - or speak to dietician about my diet - I can’t eat without Creon so not sure what diet they can suggest!

"Building organisational culture from the middle out". Having a positive culture predicts high performance. People often think that it is senior leaders who should define/articulate/role model a healthy culture & mid level leaders who should enact/endorse it. However research newly published in @MITsmr shows the critical role mid level leaders play in developing/enriching the culture. It's through exchanges that support work teams to accomplish their tasks & the practice of daily behaviours, in line with values. It's great to see research that spotlights the contribution of middle managers: sloanreview.mit.edu/article/…. I teamed this article with a graphic by @GapingvoidArt

We should regard our role as leaders as our own continuous research project. People who are great leaders are often tireless investigators of the social dynamics around them. They use the insights they gain to guide, communicate & make good decisions. Leader-researchers focus on two things: 1) Building a researcher mindset: seeing things (people, situations, “facts”) from other points of view 2)Aspiring to be a humble learner: mindful of the limits of our own knowledge & expertise & learning through different opinions: medium.com/onebigthought/how… By @juddantin who has even written a course syllabus for leader-researchers (link in the article).

Taste and smell are interpreted by receptor cells in the nose and mouth. These receptor cells send this information through nerves to the brain. When this pathway is disturbed by a stroke, it can change your sense of taste and smell. To find out more: bit.ly/3p6Hh8x
