FAA statement in DC passenger jet and helicopter crash:
“A PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet collided in midair with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter while on approach to Runway 33 at Reagan Washington National Airport around 9 p.m. local time. PSA was operating Flight 5342 for American Airlines. It departed from Wichita, Kansas.
The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation.
We will provide updates as information comes in.”

POLICE PRECINCTS WITHOUT A/C: I interviewed the spouse of a Baltimore Police officer who says her husband's precinct in the Southwestern district hasn't had working A/C for "upwards of a year." She talked to the FOP who says it's a problem at several precincts.
Working A/C in patrol cars is also a consistent issue, she tells me.
