We just lost another legend today at just 30 😔
He was only 14 when he turned a simple stick figure running through obstacles into a game played by 43 millions players. Now, the gaming community is mourning Manuel Otto at just 30. 🕊️
The creator and owner of Stick Run has died following a tragic incident during a Twitch livestream. The game’s official team confirmed his passing and asked fans to respect the privacy of everyone involved, avoid speculation and not circulate footage of the incident.
Otto began developing Stick Run in 2010 after teaching himself how to build games. What started as a teenager’s project exploded on Facebook, eventually reaching more than 43 million players worldwide and becoming one of the memorable browser games of the social-network era. Its success later carried the game onto mobile platforms.
For many players, Stick Run wasn’t some massive studio production. It was the game they opened after school, competed in with friends and kept restarting because one more run always sounded possible.
Manuel Otto created something at 14 that became part of millions of childhoods. Thirty was far too young for his own story to end.
Rest in peace, Manuel. 🤍

Taking care of one Cat is such a financial burden bro I do NOT understand how people are doing kids.
Thank you to all the content creators and community members who helped make @bekyamon 's last stream special.
I am also sorry if anyone didn't get the memo about the kudoboard, it was not for lack of trying and we were also trying to keep it a secret from beky.

I'm honored to share that the official documentary Technoblade Never Dies is now in production!
You can submit testimonials, fan art, animations, and so on here: technobladeneverdies.com/
When I got the opportunity to be part of this documentary, I had one special request: involve the Technoblade community!
It's been a pleasure working with everyone involved to get this into production. After my first meeting with the director, Steven Lake, I knew he was the right person. He truly understands what Technoblade meant to all of us. Please check out the video on the website to learn more about his vision!
For Hypixel and me personally, it was important to help make this documentary happen as a thank you to Technoblade and his family, a thank you for all the great memories and opportunities he gave us. I don't think I'd be where I am today without him. Even before the fame, he helped shape Hypixel behind the scenes and was such a good person to be around.
It's also been a pleasure to work with one of Technoblade's artists, @jester_u, on the artwork for the website such a wonderful person!
Please note that all of Hypixel's profits from this doc will be going to charity. My honest goal is for my two young kids to see this documentary, learn who Technoblade was to all of us, and get inspired.
Again, thank you, Alex, for all the great memories. We miss you dearly.
Technoblade never dies.

Hey @google I’d like to report an error.
The lake that borders New York and Ontario is an international body of water, and it is widely agreed by the entire world, except one rogue leader, that the name of this lake is “Lake Ontario”

having undiagnosed autism as an elementary schooler is like
“hi!!!! i love everyone and i want everyone to be my friend!!!! :D”
and then everyone is just… really fucking mean to you for reasons you can’t even begin to comprehend.
and then you learn to stop engaging with people, keep to yourself, and mind your own business
and somehow people are still mean to you for reasons you still can’t fathom.
