This is the wildest and most confusing set of IHSA bylaw proposals I've seen.
There is a proposal to change how a proposal can become a proposal...and a proposal to change how many votes are needed to pass a proposal.
My head hurts. And I'm not even at the state tournament changes yet.
Roanoke's C.J. Valerian gets 4 games for deliberately elbowing Quad City's Charlie Belanger in the face on Saturday. Charlie and the Storm are home Friday and Saturday vs Evansville.

JUST IN: Some big news here at the Sun-Times.
The Super 25 is expanding to cover every high school in Illinois.
The print circulation area does not matter anymore. All 802 schools in the state are eligible for the football and basketball rankings, starting this month with hoops.

What if I told you 17 minutes of rain would wash away 108 years of drought? As @obvious_shirts says, the greatest game ever played was on a Wednesday in Cleveland. It was #OTD that the #Cubs beat the Indians 8-7 in extra innings to finally win the World Series! A back and forth battle, the two teams with the longest World Series droughts giving it everything they got to end it, one of the most thrilling games in World Series history!

10 years ago today, the Chicago Cubs won the 2016 World Series Championship by defeating the Indians in Game 7 of the 2016 World Series 🙌🏼
After being down 3-1, the Cubs came back and became World Series Champions for the first time in 108 years 🙏🏼
Fayetteville acquired Trey Fechko from Roanoke in late January 2026, after which he scored 16 points (9G, 7A) in 15 games. He got a brief tryout with Fort Wayne (ECHL) in October, hasn't played anywhere this season. We'll see if he signs with the Storm.

The game is being temporarily suspended. The teams are going to move to a field with lights and will finish the game tonight. Being told they are headed to Chicago Englewood's field. We will see. Quincy leads 88-84 with 3:42 remaining in regulation.
The obsession with going for it on 4th down has gotten ridiculous. I thought coaches hated turnovers. And yet, an unconverted 4th down at midfield is the same thing.
