I’m not RC so I don’t have a dog in that canonical fight. That said while I think there are biblical grounds for remarriage in some cases it’s unwise to attend a wedding where you believe the parties entering into marriage are biblically unqualified.

Gatekeeping Jesus is a flex. Yes, people should dress nicer than PJs for church. No I wouldn’t be turn someone away. I want them there to hear Christ preached. Discussions about proper attire can come later but don’t show the door to a visitor who needs to hear the gospel.
Woman at church yesterday showed up in a sweatshirt and literal pajama pants. Wore her hood the entire service. I was absolutely appalled. I hate this whole, “came as you are” narrative the Protestant church preaches. Other religions wouldn’t let you in if you dressed so disrespectfully. Why is it only Christian’s that are held to this standard? That we must just accept everything?
