It's genuinely fantastic. Plenty of horror, an unexpected amount of surreal stuff, optional boss fights, and so much more.

Only loosely related to DBD since it's more competitive, but when will we get a Asymmetrical horror game where the goal of the big powerful monster is to scare and fuck with the survivors rather than min-maxxing the best way to slaughter em. It's fun scaring people
playing dead by daylight and remembering I dont have to play by imaginary rules and its just a game

Funny enough I think I nearly softlocked myself by dropping down into the fortified basement area with no way to open the doors on either side, but then I learned you can prop fly and used a chair to fly back up to the vent I fell down from

Actually quite like how the recent Silver Pines handled this. There were achievements for 100% the game and such, but then there was specific NG+ unlockables for things like beating the game quickly on hardest diff or using melee only. Gives a challenge separate from achievements
I think it's fine some achievements are actually hard to get instead of all of them just being a checklist also this is about Hollow Knight

Looks pretty neat actually
Semi-open-world 2D platformer 'Iron Sol' launches November 2.

Pretty short but gives a solid taste of the movement. Like some sort of demo for the movement.. it's neat
THE SNAPTIC MOVEMENT DEMO IS LIVE! You can play it on Steam for free!!

Genuinely a fantastic game from start to finish. Been a long time since I've stayed up and just put down like 12 hours in a single session. Silver Pines is a banger

Yeah Silver Pines is sick as hell. A Survival Horror Metroidvania that comes with all that entails. It's got resource management, secrets, puzzles, boss fights, trinkets. Blends the two genres together amazingly well and I'm only a few hours in.

Incredible destruction system not seen anywhere else wasted on a game that doesn't even have a Battle Royale Mode smh
THE FINALS is getting its biggest destruction update since launch this month! The Dynamism upgrade introduces a gradual destruction layer in the game's maps, allowing building parts to hinge, twist, and sag rather than instantly detaching.

Gave it a spin and it's definitely unique..? It's got tons of different mechanics that I can sort of understand how cool they'd all be when working in unison, but they feel incredibly clunky and disjointed when first starting out.
Walk a dying Wild West, hunt its twisted creatures, and look an angel in the eyes. Demo out now on Steam. store.steampowered.com/app/5… #GunsOfEschaton #Demo #OutNow

Plus the mechanic where each individual enemy type has a specific order in which a specific set of limbs should be shot in order to deal significantly more damage. But despite all this the combat still often feels more reactive over proactive.

You'll just stand there waiting to be shot at or stabbed so you can parry and shoot the first limb in the sequence to deal massive damage. Haven't experienced enough to really dig into it but I'm guessing it'll feel very clunky for everyone to start off
