Sage trains that squad all week, still picks the same players who make individual errors, or don’t look like they fit his system.
He’s either a stubborn fool or clueless.

I'm still sympathetic to Sage, who has been dealt a wicked hand. The problems exceed him and the bigwigs must take their share of the blame.
Sage dealt with the scrutiny in his post-match presser well. But he will end up being the scapegoat for wider issues.
That said, the defensive record - even with poor personnel - cannot be excused. Ultimately, Palace chiefs need to protect their asset - which is currently in relegation form - and that leaves Sage in a perilous position. #CPFC
