We hope that sanity will prevail and an agreement can be reached to continue iRacing Indycar broadcasts and an iRacing Indy 500 between all respective parties. We remain hopeful and eager to return. As the song goes, "Some might say, we will find a brighter day."

With the conclusion of the US 500 on @RaceSpotTV, the undisputed home of Indycar sim racing, there will be no more broadcasted iRacing Indycar races for some time. Speaking for the community, we hoped the race was entertaining and that everyone enjoyed the show.

I want more people to view sim racing this way. There is too much toxicity amongst people who think they are being held back from being professionals by others who they perceive get in their way. The reality is 99% of sim racers will not live comfortably on driving alone.

Brendan: The friends I've made along the way. I take this seriously, but I don't really care about the results. Having a friend circle around my favorite hobby and sport is something I'm happy to have. I wish Indycar understood they are harming that aspect for many.

I literally cannot believe this. @IndyCar THIS is how you lose fans of your series. You signed a license with a studio that is essentially out of money and will never make a game that will never be anywhere near quality. What a shitty day for open wheel sim racing.

I never tweet, but just wanted to say that I'm really disappointed by the exclusivity contract @IndyCar signed that all but erases the IndyCar community on iRacing. Racing the IR18 was the main thing that got me interested in the real life series. This really sucks.

First they took us away the 24 hours of Lemans, and now they take away the Indy 500 for most of the simracing users. I know this isn't lolipopland and this is business, but for me they crossed the line. It's hard to support Rfactor or any other @MSportgames with this decisions👎

The decision to provide exclusive @IndyCar use to @MSportgames, rendering the @iRacing Indy 500 defunct, is an incredibly poor decision. One of iRacing’s pillar events, it gave virtual racers the most accurate and challenging representation of 500 miles @IMS to the public. – at Brownsburg, IN

It’s very disappointing as a team to see the news this morning. Indycar has signed an exclusive license with another developer which all but neuters Indycar content on @iRacing. The iRacing Indy 500 is now no longer an official event.

Extremely disappointed in the news this morning from @iRacing and even more disappointed in the stance @IndyCar has taken. IndyCar has been a large part of iRacing for over 13 years and to just pull the rug out from everyone's feet is a slap in the face to the community at large.

This is devastating. The Indycar was the main reason I got back into simracing in late 2020. And driving the car on iRacing was a joy, best car in the sim. To see the relationship between the sim and the series deteriorate like this is disheartening.

I sincerely hope something changes and @IndyCar and @iRacing can come to an agreement. The Indycar on iRacing is what got me into the series, watching, and following for the last 7 years. Its the reason I went my first 500 in 2017 and went back this year (1/3)
