Good morning to everyone except those that say others are not developers just cause they work with a language they don't like
Something every dev should do:
Work in multiple languages & frameworks
You will have more options to solve problems & know when something is actually a good idea instead of just something you like cause its the only way you know.
Find your passion and pursue it.
It will be hard, and you will be challenged.
But it will be worth it.
Checklist for a happy client:
✔️ Understand their business & goals
✔️ Complete milestones on time
✔️ Keep the client updated with the method & frequency they want
✔️Address issues immediately
✔️Have tough conversations when needed
✔️Do a high-quality job every time
Unpopular Opinion: Most tech debt is actually good for the business
There is good and bad tech debt just like there is good and bad debt with money
Easy way to make selling easier & remove estimation from client projects.
Offer a productized service
1. Do small projects you can easily repeat
2. Find an efficient process for it
3. Come up with a reasonable price for it
4. Start selling this type of project on your terms
Every Friday we watch a movie as part of a family movie night.
It's important to dedicate time to your family the same way you do for your job and projects
I'm spending my night working on a guide how to find high-paying, quality clients?
I have a process that is pretty specific to me & trying to generalize is turning out harder than expected.
What do you do to get your clients?
Find your passion and pursue it.
It will be hard, and you will be challenged.
But it will be worth it.
