As I said a few days ago: Never pass a law/define an executive order/create an agency you wouldn't want to put into the hands of your worst enemy.

In New Mexico, every waitress asks you the same question before you eat.
"Red or green?"
I thought I was being asked to pick a side in a war.
In Japan, every kid gets put on the red team or the white team for sports day, starting at age six. It goes back to two samurai clans, one red and one white, who fought each other 800 years ago. You stay on your team. You do not switch.
So in Albuquerque, when the waitress said "Red or green?", I took a breath and said, "Red."
She wrote it down. No follow-up.
The next day in Santa Fe. "Red or green?" I'd already pledged.
"Red."
On the third day, the man at the next table had green chile on his eggs, and it smelled so good I nearly stood up. But I couldn't switch. I had given my word. I sat there holding the menu, fighting myself.
The waitress watched me for a second. She didn't ask a single question. She just said:
"Get Christmas, baby."
Christmas means both. Red on one side, green on the other.
800 years of samurai history, and nobody back home ever thought of that.
Later I found out "Red or green?" isn't just a habit. In 1996 the New Mexico Legislature made it the official state question.
A whole state has an official question. And the best answer is "both."
When I paid, she patted my shoulder.
"Out here, hon, you never have to pick a side."
Fresh Skyebrows yearning!
I've been a busy boy but I am finally happy to invite you all to enjoy "Can't Avoid Malfoid"

My friend, Sir Patrick Stewart, has passed away.
The fact that I was able to truly call him a friend is insane in itself, but it’s true.
He was a lifelong Huddersfield Town supporter, and through my work with them, we came together.
I would bring him the newest gear, talk to his AMAZING wife Sunny (who loved him so much) and listen to stories.
I got to shuttle the two of them around Sacramento one weekend, and it truly was an incredibly fun time.
Over the years, we would talk every Saturday during soccer season. I would always make sure he was set up (he wasn’t Mr Tech), and then we would watch the match. Afterward, we would always have a 2 man postgame show on the phone, but he hosted and I listened.
I could listen to him read the phone book. He was incredibly and unfailingly kind, always asking about me and my family, especially my USC daughter, as he lived in Los Angeles as well.
I am so sad I didn’t have longer to spend with him, I’m sad I never got to talk to him when the team gets promoted, but I’m so incredibly grateful for the time I DID get to spend with the most unlikely friend I’ve ever had.
I grew up idolizing Captain Picard, but the man behind the Captain was even better. I assure you of that.
I will miss the phone ringing and him saying in his big, bellowing English accent:
“WELL HELLO DAVID”
Yeah, he always called me David, insisted I not call him “Sir”, but I always did. Because he deserved it.
Most of all, I’ll just miss my friend.
Be at peace, Sir Patrick.
Thank you for everything.
PS: I hate 2026
Happy Holy Toledo Seth Morales Day to those who celebrate.

So I had to do something about this.

Dominic lerace, known simply to generations of working-class households as Dahnnie, passed away at 83 after a quiet, three-year battle with bladder cancer.
He was the sonic heartbeat of a culture defined by grittiness, loyalty, and an unshakeable connection to the soil from which it grew.
To understand Donnie Iris is to understand the geography of the Beaver Valley and the distinct lilt of the Pittsburgh dialect. He wasn't a product of Hollywood slickness or New York corporate curation. Born in New Castle and raised in Ellwood City, he belonged entirely to the landscape of brick row houses, church basements, and neighborhood clubs. His music wasn't just entertainment; it was a reflection of the people who filled the mills, staffed the local diners, and packed the Beaver Falls taverns six nights a week.
He announced his retirement just weeks ago after playing at The Wylie in the Pittsburgh historic Hill District.
Godspeed, my friend Godspeed 💔

What does any of this even mean?
I'm serious. What Nazi adjacent shit?
What does he mean by the 1945 reference?
I keep asking for people to be specific because I want people to say, directly, what they mean.
So. What, specifically, does any of this even mean?
John Oliver: “It does feel that the Republican Party has been getting way too comfortable with some, at best, Nazi-adjacent sh*t.”
“Nazis getting power doesn’t historically bode well for anyone, including, for what it’s worth, Nazis, who didn’t exactly have the best 1945.”

Everyone’s a Lobo, right @FreddyLA7?

Ask yourself the following:
Why are high-speed car chases occurring in border communities?
Why would a Representative endorse a law preventing law enforcement from pursuing those potentially engaged in criminal activity?
