Does anyone else feel like the best part of scrum was naming the sprint? Especially when you had a theme going 😂
Works in the short term, hard to maintain in the long term in my experience as teams grow. At some point, everyone just relies on some staging/testing environment that runs the full backend (which, of course, has it’s own set of trade offs)
For years, I’ve been creating custom mock APIs for each app. So, here’s an exciting idea I’m implementing today: 1. Create a mock API server to mock the company’s APIs 2. Publish it as an npm package. 3. Share the mock server between teams, like an open source project. 1/x
Been a very long time since my last tweet 😛 just going through old mentions feeling nostalgic of my time at @junocollege who knew how much this time was going to change my life! #hambun
Look at these wonderful web developers. They're the Winter 2015 bootcamp students and they're wonderful. #hambun

To go from web based front end development to leading teams building complex architectures that span across all parts of the stack shows just how much you can grow in the tech field, and I still feel like there’s is so much to learn

love the speed of new @firefox but the slow JS debugging has made me return to @googlechrome , hoping that things can be fixed up in the future!

trying out the new @FirefoxDevTools with quantum and it's crazy fast! but has anyone else noticed that the JS debugger isn't as fast as the @ChromeDevTools ? Seems to take a while to evaluate all the expressions.
Been loving @BrainfmApp lately! Thinking of subscribing for a couple months for a longer test run. It's hard for me to find good music to listen to while focusing, but this app really helps! Give it a try 😁

Starting to get a better handle on @java, recently been using more generic types so functions can be more flexible. Wish someone had told me about them before! Would have made a few situations much easier. But such is how it goes through self-taught learning
