We created the BC Sepsis Network to bring clinicians together to share expertise and resources as well as lead local efforts to improve care for sepsis. Over a recent five-year period, BC’s health care system prevented over 1,150 people from acquiring or dying from #sepsis.

Today is #InternationalPronounsDay. We’re implementing an option on our website that allows our staff to specify their pronouns. This is a small but important step towards inclusivity and working towards a health care system that is respectful, safe and welcoming for all.
I've been a keen reader of @bbybeacon since it launched earlier this year, and today's issue ahead of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a great example of why. Excellent, local stories and context leading up to an important day tomorrow.
Today, we're bringing you an important edition of the newsletter ahead of the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.

Highly recommend this podcast! @rogbennett is such a fantastic interviewer and incredible storyteller. I've dusted off my DVD player so I can watch and listen to episodes in tandem.
In episode 2 of the Band of Brothers Podcast, writer John Orloff and director Richard Loncraine discuss the lengths they went to in order to recreate the terror and heroism of the D-Day invasion. Listen here: itsh.bo/band-of-brothers-pod
Time for a book tour stop in Vancouver, @rogbennett, so I can get you to autograph my @MenInBlazers retweet :) Good bookstores, a middling MLS squad that somehow gave us @AlphonsoDavies & the greatest international goal scorer in history @sincy12. It's a perfect fit.
.@erinoverbey brings the receipts in sharing a vivid example of institutional racism.
Checking @j_mcelroy's feed at 3pm is a daily routine for me. Count me in the sad group.
Thanks for clearly explaining what we've been collectively experiencing for the past 18 months.
