My relationship with Tales is complicated, I have tried many but only completed 3 as of rn. Abyss I picked up bcuz a friend was recommending it & it was the last chance for a Tales game to impress me.
Little did I know tho that Abyss was engineered in a lab just for me, a KH fan-
Tales of the Abyss is an amazing game and I really enjoy it.
I see people calling it their favorite but it got me thinking ‘Why?’
I’m just genuinely curious why you would rank it higher as far as tales games go when you compare it to something like Symphonia, Destiny 2 or Arise?
I’m not putting down the game by any means but I just started thinking what about the game makes it better than all the others?
Literally this game knocked me on my fking ass it's that fking good. Deadass I am giving another chance to other Tales games I dropped previously (like Symphonia) and am willing to try more instead of giving up on the series entirely.
