When our industry choked on remakes in the late 90s& 2000s, people naturally tuned out and Consumed Other language content. We had zero counter content to offer. Movies Discussions dominate schools, college & corporates talks . When our peers brought up Their language cinema, we had no response we just accepted it, watched their movies and learned their languages to fit in. Cinema isn't just entertainment it’s linguistic soft power and KFI surrendered ours
