⚠️ PSA : de moins en moins actif sur TW (sorry, Elon !) et comme j'ai déserté FB depuis loooongtemps et que j'ai jamais osé TikTok (too addictive for my own good 😅), c'est vraiment sur IG que ça se passe (@julientribet pour la photo, @kicket187prod pour la zik et tout le reste).
Hey Twitter, long time no see, je pose ça là, comme ça en passant, cadeau, allez bye !

Sayonara Twitter !

Oz premiered 26 years ago today on @HBO. The first episode aired July 12, 1997, and the show ran for six seasons. The series finale aired February 23, 2003. Over 20 cast members from Oz would go on to appear in #TheWire. (Alexa Fogel was Casting Director for both shows)
"Nothing's in a vacuum. I would credit 'Oz' for showing me that there was this network out there that would tell a dark story and tell an adult story. 'Homicide' had been made into a TV show. But with 'The Corner,’ I was like: 'The rights are worth nothing. Nobody's going to put that on American television.' And then I saw 'Oz,' and so that was the moment where I looked at HBO and said, 'Oh, would you like to make a mini-series about a drug-saturated neighborhood and about the drug war?'" -David Simon (2022 NYT interview) nytimes.com/2022/05/31/arts/…
