HELMET STICKERS ARE BACK!! For those who don’t know—we started this a few years back. Each player on our team is given an @LSUfootball helmet at the beginning of the season. After every game we give out helmet stickers for 5 statistics we chart during games. • ☠️- Kills (3 consecutive defensive stops) - 8+ Kills - whole team gets a sticker • 🐾- Deflections -Any player who gets 6+ deflections gets a sticker • 🌟- Charges - Take a charge, get a sticker • 🏀- 10+ Rebounds - Any player who grabs 10 or more rebounds gets a sticker • 🐅- Hustle Play - Any max effort play that impacts the game i.e. Diving on the floor for a loose ball, saving a ball from going out of bounds, helping and recovering and rotating for an entire defensive possession leading to a shot clock violation…etc. get a sticker! This has been a positive way to motivate our team defensively. We’ll also be tracking each category throughout the season with a leaderboard for each category! Excited to continue this tradition!! 💪
