So important to think about…keeping in mind what we have learned from research and how to best support learning of each student. We often forget learning is our goal. Thank you Lee Ann.
🔍 Gone are the days when the purpose of #assessment was to #grade and rank #students. Assessment is part of the instructional process--#feedback is the priority, not a grade. #LeadInclusion #UDL #EdLeaders #Teachers #SBLchat #TG2Chat #TeacherTwitter

📊 A zero should never be a proxy for missing work/data. It's not only harmful to kids, but it's also poor math/measurement. Missing isn't evidence of no learning. It's just no evidence. #LeadInclusion #EdLeaders #Teachers #UDL #SBLchat #TG2Chat #TeacherTwitter

📚 #Grading homework introduces big problems. #Homework runs a serious risk of widening the achievement gap for #students with #IEPs and students from low-income backgrounds. #LeadInclusion #EdLeaders #Teachers #UDL #SBLchat #TG2Chat #TeacherTwitter

This @ESO image shows a rare case of a triple merger of galaxies. This system, which astronomers have dubbed 'The Bird' - although it also bears resemblance with a cosmic "Tinker Bell" - is composed of two massive spiral galaxies and a third irregular galaxy.
