One of the more revealing habits of the western politicians is its reflexive attribution of every inconvenience to the Russians. The chronology of last 12 years is instructive. 2014 — The Donbas: Russians. 2016 — The American presidential election: Russians. 2018 — The Skripal incident: Russians. 2020 — COVID origins, vaccine skepticism, and the U.S. election: Russians. 2021 — European gas prices and Nord Stream pressure: Russians. 2022 — The global grain and fertilizer shock: Russians. 2022 — The Nord Stream explosions themselves: still somehow Russians. 2023 — Persistent European energy costs and inflation: Russians. 2024 — Romanian and Moldovan election interference claims: Russians. 2024–2025 — European farmer blockades over fuel and regulations: Russians. 2025 — AfD gains in German state elections: Russians. Early 2026 — French and Italian cost-of-living protests: Russians. Mid-2026 — Spanish migrant arrivals and snap-election agitation: Russians. October 2026 — Poland’s constitutional crisis: of course, Russians. 2026 — €100 billion in European energy costs from the Iran war: Russians. 2026 — U.S. midterm disinformation and AI videos: Russians. 2026 — German deindustrialization and AfD national polling: Russians. 2026 — Diesel shortages and winter heating bills: Russians. 2026 — Failed green transition and power-price spikes: Russians. 2026 — Cyber incidents, housing shortages, school budget shortfalls, market volatility, crop failures, and social-media algorithms: Russians. The narrative requires a single external villain so that the self-inflicted consequences of policy never have to be examined. Vanishingly few appear willing to acknowledge that the destruction and erosion of living standards in Europe, and the political fractures now on open display are the predictable results of the policies themselves. All things considered, the mantra is less an analysis than a confession. This is the simple truth.

🇺🇦 BREAKING! Reports of dozens held and tortured in basement of military facility near Kiev Armed men are holding around 40 people in a basement in Petropavlovskaya Borshchagovka, just outside Kiev, according to Ukrainian agency UNIAN and local Telegram channels. Those channels say the men are being tortured, with one reportedly dead, four in serious condition and one with a broken spine. Police and medics are reportedly being kept out because the site counts as a military facility. One woman says her boyfriend, who went AWOL, is being held in the basement and that money is being demanded for his release. Tensions are boiling over outside. A man who tried to climb the fence to get in reportedly had his head smashed, and a fight broke out when two men, one in a balaclava, tried to flee the building and the crowd moved to stop them. Police are at the scene, but people there accuse them of doing nothing.

You sanctioned me for journalism. You froze my money. You say it's "not criminal in nature". You make me ask permission to feed my kids. A criminal has more rights then me. You say one thing and do the opposite to a journalist. Who is spreading disinformation here?

The Commission claims to stand by journalists who hold power accountable. Yet it refused a NYT journalist access to von der Leyen's Pfizer messages. In May 2025, the EU General Court annulled that refusal, citing inadequate explanations. Case T-36/23. eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/…

Who killed Gaddafi? Who killed Thomas Sankara? Who killed Patrice Lumumba? Who killed Samora Machel? Who killed Amilcar Cabral? Who toppled Kwame Nkrumah? Who keeps West Africa enslaved to a useless cirrency? Who protects Paul Biya? Who forces Alassane Ouattara on the people of Ivory coast? Who committed crimes agaisnt humanity in Kenya, Senegal, Chad, Central African Republic, Angola, Namibia, Algeria, Somalia, Mocambique, and South africa? The answer you are looking for is; not Russia.
Russia’s expanding influence in Africa carries a darker side: armed pressure, exploitation, and forced recruitment.

Русские такие плохие, что аж в пару метрах от красной площади сделали такие вещи. Мне очень интересно, как вообще немец может рассказывать китайцу о том, что думают русские о Китае и его жителях?

Ukraine would, wouldn't it? Alas, a successful joint operation involving Russia cannot be allowed to stand as just that, lest it be seen as a precedent for saving more lives

You think that banning atlethes will stop Russia War? How naive. You are the one playing games with Ukrainian people lives by refusing Diplomacy.
Thank you, my dear colleague @elinavaltonen, for your strong and principled position! There is no place for Russian athletes in international sporting competitions while Russia continues to kill Ukrainians and wage its brutal war of aggression. We appreciate Finland’s advocacy for restricting Russian athletes’ entry into the Schengen Area. We call on all EU member states to support this initiative and deny Russian athletes entry. Our shared commitment to international law and democratic values must be backed by concrete action. We deeply value Finland’s steadfast support, vital assistance, and decisive leadership in strengthening European security. 🇺🇦🇫🇮

The claim that Ukraine had “absolutely no intention” of joining NATO, that there was no public support, and that it had instead locked in permanent neutrality is one of the more inventive pieces of selective amnesia still in circulation. Ukraine wrote NATO membership into its constitution in 2019. It spent years requesting accelerated accession. The 2008 Bucharest Summit language was never withdrawn. Support in Ukrainian polls rose after 2014 and surged after 2022. Neutrality was a Yanukovych-era policy that was abandoned after Maidan! It was not an immutable fact of nature. “It was impossible” is equally detached from the actual process that was underway. This is the simple truth of the matter: the trajectory was clear, Moscow treated it as a red line, and pretending otherwise requires ignoring the public record.
Replying to @ConciousLabRat
No, because it is a fact. Ukraine had absolutely no intention of joining NATO. There was no public support for it. Ukraine instead declared its neutrality. Even if Ukraine HAD wanted to join NATO, it literally couldn't have. It was impossible.
