Studio Editions is the newest product we’re building at DOSA Studios. The idea is pretty simple. We’ve spent a lot of time building DOSA Studios around creating for other brands, but Studio Editions flips that relationship around. Instead of a project coming to us with a brief, they give us their brand and we decide what we want to create. We develop the concepts, the art direction and the individual pieces with full creative control from start to finish. Each Studio Edition becomes a small collection of unique 1/1s, with a select few receiving our Studio Gold treatment. But the part I’m most interested in is what this looks like after 10, 20, 50+ collaborations. The goal is to slowly build an on-chain library of Web3 brands through the eyes of DOSA Studios. Every Edition adds another brand, another community and another piece of Web3 culture to that library. It also creates a natural way for DOSA Studios and $DOSA to continually get in front of new communities, while exposing our own community to projects they may not have discovered otherwise. I don’t want the studio to just be a place people come to when they need artwork. I want us creating things people want to collect. First Studio Edition is already underway.

I think people underestimate what happens when a brand in web3 actually starts operating like a business. $DOSA already generates revenue. We’ve taken the brand, built a creative studio around it and turned that into a business that generates real income from work we do for other brands and projects. That’s always been important to me. Because once you prove you can generate revenue outside of the performance of your own asset, you have an engine you can continue to build on. The Studio is the first part of that. Over time there will be more products, more revenue streams and more ways for that value to find its way back into what we’re building. We’re still early. Never underestimate a brand that learns how to make money.
