The problem with E3 has always been that it's a trade show built on hype. For years publishers were announcing projects way too early, announcing games they haven't even started developing, & things they barely have a concept for yet all to "win E3".
I love that Tears of the Kingdom seems to address some of the more common complaints about BotW without throwing away the mechanics.
Weapon durability can be easily circumvented with Fuse, & Ascend reduces reliance on climbing. Exploration & traversal look more fun than ever.
Hmm... do I need a 3rd special edition pro controller? 😅
