Bad take. BAYC made alot of people alot of money.
But most importantly, the money came from VCs, celebs, institutions and others typically way higher up the food chain.
It enriched retail traders for once. No bundles. No insider trading. No market manipulation.
Little guy won.

On the invitation we said the best conversations don't happen in conference rooms.
More than 50 founders, builders and community members turned up one evening to test that, on a padel and pickleball court.
Most of them had played only a handful of times, which meant they spent the evening being visibly bad at something in front of people they had only just met. It is much easier to like someone who has just missed the same shot you did.
People walked out sweaty and were already arranging the next game between themselves.
The evening worked because four companies each brought the thing they build.
Love All (loveall.club/) gave us the courts, inside Grace Orchard School, where the club runs employment pathways for graduates with special needs.
Grain (grain.com.sg/) fed the room before we started.
We The Makers (wethemakers.xyz/), founded by our Stellar @KingOfMerch_, sponsored the welcome gifts.
LOOM (instagram.com/loomworks.stud…) co-hosted, where our Stellar @_andrewxchan is its Founder and CEO.
Thank you to everyone who played, and to our Stellar, Boba, for stepping in to coach pickleball.
If you are building something and want to be in rooms like this one, come talk to us.
Threadguy reveals Hyperliquid was the only venue on earth that didn't break during the SpaceX IPO
"What Hyperliquid pulled off on the SpaceX pre-IPO was absolutely incredible. So much volume, so much OI, the market was so liquid, and it predicted the price almost perfectly. The last quote that came out was 150, and within 10 minutes of the IPO it was at 175. It was wild how accurate it was."
"And here's the crazy part. The moment the IPO went live, Robinhood was down, Coinbase was down, Bybit had to refund everybody that participated, Binance had to refund everybody that participated, and Hyperliquid was the only venue on the planet with absolutely no problems. Very impressive tech performance on the biggest IPO in history."
