I feel this is spot on! Social media often works as an echo chamber and we forget that much of what is portrayed on there is not done in a realistic manner - here is where the support of real friends and family can be key to ensure that you acknowledge your own progress!

Definitely something to bear in mind! I hear some courses have doubled their intake both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels... I understand the rationale behind this, but at the very least, more transparency should be encouraged!

I think support for the families could also be a key factor here? Particularly for larger households, where pupils have often have to attend school from the same room. Organizations such as @FrontlineSW can play a key role in providing much needed help to disadvantaged families

Councils can also step in - improving and increasing the number of youth centers in line with government regulations can provide a safe place for students to study and socialize

This is certainly part of the problem! If another partial lockdown were to be implemented - at the very least some spaces should be kept open to ensure that the most vulnerable have a suitable space to study
