NIGERIA NEEDS ACTIVE, ENERGETIC LEADERSHIP, NOT A PRESIDENCY BUILT ON POLITICAL ENTITLEMENT – DR. MO
NIGERIA NEEDS LEADERSHIP WITH ENERGY, NOT AN ENTITLEMENT TO POWER! Watching the events surrounding President Tinubu in Akwa Ibom, where he appeared to stumble and nearly fall, is deeply sobering. I wish him good health and dignity. But we must not allow courtesy to silence a necessary national conversation. Nigeria is too important, too young, too energetic and too troubled to continue treating the presidency as a retirement entitlement. This is not about age discrimination. Age does not automatically disqualify anyone from leadership. But the Nigerian presidency demands extraordinary physical stamina, mental alertness, sound judgment, compassion and relentless energy. We have millions of young Nigerians struggling for survival, an economy in distress, insecurity everywhere and a generation desperate for opportunity. They need a leader who can match the urgency of their struggles. My pain is not that a President stumbled. My pain is that Nigeria itself continues to stumble while its political leadership refuses to recognise the urgency of the moment. I believe in Mr Peter Obi because Nigeria needs a different leadership culture: competence over connections, service over entitlement, accountability over excuses, and compassion over political arrogance. We must stop confusing longevity in politics with capacity to lead. Nigeria deserves a President who can carry the enormous responsibility of the office with energy, clarity, courage and commitment. The presidency is not a retirement home. It is a national assignment. And Nigeria cannot afford another four years of misplaced priorities. -Dr. Mo National Coordinator, Global Obidient Movement.

Boss: Are you married? Him: Yes, I am. Boss: I like you, but your wife is the reason I haven't made a move. Is there a way around that? Him: My wife isn't an obstacle I'm trying to get around. She's my wife, and I made a commitment to her. NOW THAT'S HOW YOU SET BOUNDARIES! 👏❤️ No flirting back. No mixed signals. No leaving room for possibilities. Just a man who understands that loyalty isn't about the absence of temptation, but the decision to honour your commitment even when temptation comes knocking. Your spouse should never have to fight for a position they already occupy. Respect. Loyalty. Boundaries. 💯

Omoo it is sad we have so many nuisance and fools in high places
Don’t fund a billionaire’s election. Use that money to develop yourself and plant seeds for your own future wealth. Supreme leader Dickson doesn’t need your help buying diesel for the generators at his Bayelsa home meetings, and the candidate doesn’t need your contribution to fuel the private jet he flies on his wealthy friends’ accounts. Leave campaign finance to the billionaires and the wealthy who can write it off on their books.

This is is democrati sabotage, and it MUST BE CONDEMNED! Nigeria cannot claim to practise democracy while opposition parties are subjected to calculated destabilisation, judicial uncertainty and political persecution. You cannot win the confidence of the people by crippling their choices. You cannot destroy the opposition and still pretend to defend democracy. We stand firmly with Mr Peter Obi in condemning every attempt to suffocate opposition politics and undermine the Nigerian people's democratic rights. Democracy is not the private property of those in power. Nigeria is not a one-party state, and it must never be turned into one! History will judge those who chose political survival over democratic survival. The people must have the final say! -Dr. Mo National Coordinator, Obidient Movement
Do not Undermine Democracy I have received with shock the news of an order by the Federal High Court in Abuja nullifying the emergence of the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and all the actions he has taken. This is unsettling and surprising. I do not challenge the ruling of the court. The court of law is constituted to determine disputes according to the law. My concern is that three months before a general election, it is in the public interest to have certainty. It is not good to have too many uncertainties about candidates and parties a few weeks before a presidential election. This instability is obviously engineered by the ruling party, just as they have done against me in the Labour Party and continue to do so to close down civic space for a robust campaign. It is also from the same rulebook that manufactures violence against us in our campaigns. One mark of democracy is that at all times, it is voters and not courts that choose leaders. I trust in the judiciary. As a public officer, I have shown deep respect for the judiciary. I appeal that we protect the integrity of democracy by not undermining the free and fair choice of candidates. The sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, in the midst of encroaching military rule in West Africa, should strengthen our resolve to protect opposition politics and not stamp out opposition parties. It is because of the importance of opposition to the sustenance of democracy that I have always promised that, as President, I will take a special interest in ensuring opposition parties are stable and thriving, and that opposition candidates are not persecuted out of electoral contests. This is a time to strengthen our democracy by allowing the opposition to thrive. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

NO PUBLIC OFFICIAL IS ABOVE THE CONSTITUTION — DR MO CALLS ON NIGERIANS TO RESIST INTIMIDATION, REJECT IMPUNITY AND DEFEND DEMOCRACY.
We appear to be living in a country where those entrusted with public authority increasingly speak and act as though they are above the law. From ministers making inflammatory public statements, to local government chairmen telling citizens to leave, senators threatening citizens with violence, and ruling party officials making statements that undermine public confidence in our democracy, one must ask: Where is our respect for the Constitution, the rule of law, and the dignity of the Nigerian people? Nigeria is not the private property of any political party, president, minister, senator, governor, or local government chairman. Public office is a responsibility, not a licence to intimidate, insult, threaten, or silence citizens. Nigeria still has a Constitution. Nigerians still have rights. And those in power must be held accountable. History teaches us that no political authority is permanent. Power changes hands, governments come and go, and those who believe themselves untouchable eventually discover that the people and history have the final say. The time has come for Nigerians to rise in courage, unity, constitutional resistance, peaceful protest, civic action, and an uncompromising demand for accountability. We must reject intimidation, challenge impunity, defend our democratic institutions, and insist that every public official is subject to the law. No government has the right to treat citizens as enemies simply because they disagree. No political party owns Nigeria. No public official is above the Constitution. Those who abuse power must understand that the Nigerian people are watching, history is recording, and accountability cannot be postponed forever. We must resist tyranny. We must reject impunity. We must defend our country. Nigeria belongs to all of us not to those who temporarily occupy positions of power. Dr Mo National Coordinator Obidient Movement (Global)
