"We can't breathe Properly, My Eyes are also Burning." Gen Z Woman from Arunachal Pradesh. Siang Valley, 23 Oct: At least six women were injured after police fired tear gas shells in Dite-Dime near Geku in Upper Siang district during Friday's 12-hour bandh against the Siang Upper Multipurpose Project. The shutdown was heavily enforced across Siang, Upper Siang, and parts of East Siang district. Protesters reported that several individuals were hit directly by the canisters and experienced severe breathing difficulties. “Protect Arunachal or Resign”: Citizen to Modi
According to the information received, ITBP personnel have reportedly been deployed not just around Jamia, but across several parts of Delhi. While concerns over Chinese incursions into Indian territory, including Arunachal Pradesh, remain a matter of national security, the government appears far more focused on controlling protesters demanding their fundamental rights. The govt’s contrasting approach to national security and citizens’ democratic freedoms raises serious questions about its priorities. Double standards, misplaced priorities, and political hypocrisy.

Dear . @narendramodi (PM) , Cc - @RahulGandhi (LOP) Subject: Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India Dear Sir, As we know, for the past few years, the residents of Arunachal Pradesh have been crying out, requesting, and demanding action against Chinese intrusions into Indian territory. If you and your Parliament have no knowledge that Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India and a part of Indian territory, kindly protect it. If you cannot do so due to external foreign pressure, please be loud and clear and resign. Thanking you, A law-abiding citizen of India.

Remember this young boy from Arunachal Pradesh? 💔 Back in August, he posted a heartbreaking video warning about Chinese intrusions into Indian territory. Andbhakts and Godi Media branded him as a “Chinese agent” Now, the ITBP DG’s remarks about clashes since July raise serious questions. Mr. Modi, why was this boy attacked instead of being heard? Why were Indians kept in the dark about reports from our own border?

#WATCH | Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh TDP President, Palla Srinivasa Rao, says, "We have the utmost respect for the Supreme Court. Whatever directions the Supreme Court gives, we will abide by them. But the directions given by the Supreme Court state that only the State Election Commission has to decide on the extension of dates. As our party is part of the government, we have nothing to do with the postponement or any changes to the dates. The State Election Commission has to take a call on that. I want to mention one thing here. From the beginning of the local body election process, from the announcement of the elections or from the day the government announced that we were going to hold local body elections, the YSRCP has filed a number of cases seeking postponement of the elections, but it did not get any relief. Now, it is asking for an extension of time. As the Telugu Desam Party, I can tell you that we have the utmost respect for the Supreme Court's directions, and we have no objection to them..."

Yeah right! "Democracy in Andhra Pradesh is alive and thriving" @naralokesh 👏🏼👏🏼 Here's a live example. While YSRCP MPTC candidates were submitting their nomination papers for Local Body Elections to the election officer, TDP leader entered the election officer's room, snatches nomination forms from the hands of the returning officer and discards them.
A record of over 22,800 nominations have been filed for the urban local body elections across Andhra Pradesh. Candidates from every party, every community and every corner of the state have stepped forward. Democracy in Andhra Pradesh is alive and thriving. Those who cry foul before a single vote is cast should remember: elections are won in the field, not at press meets. Face the people, the people will decide.

At 74, Rantabali Ghosh wakes up at 5:30 AM to bring smiles to Kolkata’s streets, one Alpona at a time! 🎨❤️ What began as a simple initiative to surprise neighbours has become a beautiful mission to preserve Bengal’s traditional Alpona art. From decorating dilapidated houses to bringing joy to elderly couples and slum residents, her artwork proves that art knows no boundaries. Inspired by her grandmother and Rabindranath Tagore’s artistic legacy, she hopes to revive a fading Bengali tradition. Her message? Modernisation matters, but why should we forget our cultural roots? @ratnabali.ghosh #AlponaArt #BengaliCulture #IndianArt [Traditional Alpona Art Of West Bengal, 74-Year-Old Rantabali Ghosh Reviving Bengali Cultural Heritage]
