Mine are higher. I find that I’m easily overstimulated with age. Also finally doing productive therapy and getting diagnosed with bo ADHD and stuff in your 30s, you just want to live better in the time you have left. So hai, no to lowering standards.😭✋🏾

The word was literally coined in the 1860s… and first appears in an English Bible in 1946, added by the RSV translation committee. Same committee later changed it but the damage was already done and other translations have kept it.🥲

The Bible has 66 books. The Protestant Bible that is… 1189 chapters. 31k+ verses… All of that, and there’s only 6 verses on ‘homosexuality’… 1,2,3,4,5,6! SIX. But somehow those 6 scriptures are the pinnacle of a measure of sorts of the Christian’s belief? Yeah, ne? 😒
