I'm raising funds for the Build A Girl UK 2026 Christmas Programme. BAG UK works with vulnerable girls aged 8-18 in Bradford. We need money for warm coats and shoes, also some goodies! Please donate if you can and share everywhere gofund.me/1135d1323

What incredible bravery from Joanne Young. She waived her right to anonymity after being drugged and raped by Tory councillor Philip Young. He also allegedly “advertised” her to be raped and sexually abused by other men who are not on trial. He has admitted his guilt. He shackled and blindfolded her and she thought she had had a nightmare. Hideous vile man. This is the second such case in British courts in the same month. How often is this happening? That we don’t yet know about?! telegraph.co.uk/gift/8989736…

.@AusHumanRights could drive changes to the Sex Discrimination Act using their Section 11 powers to review the current law & recommend legislative amendments to the Attorney General & parliament. Their President says they have no plans to do so. womensadvocacy.net/2026/06/1…
Highlight reel of Australia’s sex discrimination commissioner, the custodian of women’s rights, saying utter nonsense. It could on for hours but we’ve all got lives to lead so here’s 3 minutes.

We’ll never forget you, Claire, the founder and the heart of our Somerset & Dorset group. xxx
ANNOUNCEMENT It’s with heavy hearts that WRN announce the death of one of our own, the truly fabulous Claire Loneragan. Claire was a fundamental part of WRN since its inception and had been key to the growth and the success of our organisation. She is irreplaceable as a WRNer and as a Director. Most importantly though, as a dear friend. We will miss her immensely. We know that all our WRN members will feel her loss deeply, not least her ‘home’ group of Somerset and Dorset. We send our sincere heartfelt sympathies to her husband Dave, her children, her wider family, and her many friends. Claire had been ill for some time but maintained her typical good humour, courage (and not a small amount of ice cream) throughout. When we have needed wisdom, hard work and application, Claire had provided these in abundance. Her hand was in everything that we did. And we all endeavoured to ‘Be More Claire’ as a result. But more importantly than that, she was always our dear friend. Goodbye Claire. We love you so much xx

“First female - well done” shouted to me by parkrunners & marshals In a small out and back @parkrunUK it’s easy to spot the first female finisher The only thing for certain - I was 12th. Any of the 11 males in front of me could have registered in the female category today…

Ladies and gentlemen, this is an MP in Somalia THIS WEEK defending the mutilation of little girls because it benefits men. I am running out of words for the sheer inhumanity of these men. And the female politician laughing behind him should be ashamed. But that would require a conscience. Around 99% of Somali women and girls have undergone #FGM, yet politicians openly defend this horrific abuse. And what do we do? Keep pouring billions into Somalia while pretending it is building a functioning state. Why are British taxpayers funding institutions whose politicians show such contempt for little girls? Not another penny without accountability. I am sick of this madness.
