Alcohol and drugs will finish youth, there’s absolutely nothing good that comes out of that shit. I am doing 24 hours strong since I saw the light and I wish my brothers and sisters see the same light and quit on such horrible lifestyle. We need to change or perish!

Senior Doctors especially consultants are now realizing that they can’t ignore the digital health platforms and subsequently interventions in their practice. I am seeing my lecturers some in their 60s struggling to create content to woo clients and some are very funny and painful to watch 🤣
Took me to the judiciary, introduced me to his staff and told them Incase anything happens to him then I'll be answerable 😂. We later took shots of wine and this was after absconding his fatherly duty for close to 20yrs.

I am going to start my own unique show/podcast with main focus to healthcare but more importantly psychosocial and behavioral subjects tying it with the many mental health disorders in the society that we don’t see and tying together with the many different things we’re seeing in the society in politics, business, families etc.
I’ll also be hiring social media and digital marketers/ managers, and podcast producers, video editors, interior designers.
I want someone who can open a YouTube and Tiktok account for me and then work on my instagram and other socials.
I have a concept that I think I can execute and change people’s perspective about healthcare and mental health disorders but more importantly educate and provide solutions and treatment. I love the brain and cognitive functions that emanate from it,I believe most of our problems in the society is because we have cognitive problems that aren’t addressed I mean look at Kasongo.
What do you guys think and which topics would you love me to cover na at some point mtakua mnalipa for consultations in my Mbitmed telemed platform, that’s why I am going back to school for MMED psychiatry to acquire more knowledge and help the society in that area. Advise, suggestions, criticism, job opportunities/expertise are highly welcome on this post.
We are going to be big 💪🏿💪🏿

How's the internship issue solved when people have to wait for more than 1 year to be posted. It's only solved when all interns are posted within 2 months after certifying the board of examiners.
Tuache kunormalize hiyo gap; it's a problem that should be solved @kmpdu
Hey,I don't usually mix clinical judgment with personal feelings, but ever since I saw you, I’ve been dealing with sx that don’t show up in textbooks persistent admiration, random smiles, and an unusual heart rhythm whenever your name pops up, in short I want you now!

Dear Medical Interns,
As you begin your internship, you will need certification of all your documents by an Advocate of High Court.

Across the country, the signs are already clear. Medical Officers are lining up for postgraduate programmes. Not necessarily because they want to specialise, but because the current system has made general practice untenable. Many are physically exhausted, emotionally drained, and desperate for work environments that value their skills and offer space to grow. This slow but steady exodus threatens to collapse primary healthcare.

The bullet shattered humerus and blew out the brachial artery and nerves
The ambulance siren was heard from far.
"In coming" shouted one of the health team members in the crowd -control area.
The barrier was lowered and the ambulance zoomed in.
"Red Zone" the screening team member shouted after talking to the ambulance team.
The door sprang open and six red zone team members lifted the patient from the ambulance onto the red zone bed.
My camera was rolling.
A young man had a hole on the right arm just below the shoulder on the humerus. The hole was oozing blood.
The emergency team was extremely impressive. The team lead, a cardiothoracic registrar quickly clamped the brachial artery. She then applied a pressure bandage around the injury attempting to stop further bleeding.
The second member put a wide-bore intravenous cannula on the opposite hand and started running intravenous fluids.
A third member was taking history from the patient and the other person who came with the patient.
A fourth gave a pain killer injection.
"Move your fingers" the cardiothoracic doctor asked the gentleman. The fingers could not move.
"Blood vessel and nerve injury" the doctor said.
"Documentation" Dr @lizwala said, reminding the history takers to quickly jot down the medical notes for referral and get the identity of the patient and possible contacts. This is important information that was well illustrated in the KMA - IMLU training on forensic documentation.
"Ready to move! Go" the team lead shouted after exactly 6 minutes from the time the patient was placed in the red zone for first aid. It was exactly like in the medical dramas on Netflix.
The patient was lifted and placed back to ambulance, accompanied by the EMT.
A quick hand over was done and with sirens back on the ambulance zoomed off enroute to Kenyatta National Hospital.
I walked to the ambulance entry point and cried and cried.
"It's ok" Christine Amondi from Red Cross said, seeing the distress I was in.
A young man had an arm in the morning and by evening he was in a situation where he is likely to have his right upper limb amputated due to a bullet, a bullet that was well aimed to cause maximum damage. The bullet had gotten the right brachial artery that supplies blood to the whole upper limb. Sad.
That was our day yesterday. I think we need counselling.
The field hospital set up by @KenyaMedics_KMA & @BeyondTS_Africa along Kigali Road was both a life saver and a source of sadness.
Many Kenyans came through to support the initiative by contributing to the KMA Paybill 645645, Account number Medical Aid.
Thank You.
No amount of contribution was small with Kenyans donating what they could afford.
Many partners were on board
@IMLU_org @MSF @StJohnKenya @KenyaRedCross , County
Government of Nairobi & others.
We thank all those who donated suppliers to Kenya Medical Association Headquaters. I want to signal out Dr Sylvia Vito for her very generous contributions of medicines and supplies. May God bless you immensely.
The gun shot patient described above was one of the 579 patients treated, 88 needing critical care and 8 sustaining gun shot wounds. We had sexual assault patients and we also treated several policemen.
The government needs to move with speed to sort out the issues that are leading to these ever increasing anti-government protests.
