Bleacher Report NBA trade idea: Heat receive: - Karl-Anthony Towns Knicks receive: - Bam Adebayo - Tim Hardaway Jr. Thoughts??? (Via @EricPincus)

The Knicks' assistant coaches did not receive their championship rings during Tuesday's ceremony, despite being handed ring boxes, according to league sources. Many longtime employees at Madison Square Garden will not receive rings at all, per team sources. Those employees got their hopes up in late September, when they were sent a fake championship ring offer as part of a phishing test. nyti.ms/4jB0yvR

"That's a travel." How many steps from LaMelo? 😭

The championship banner is raised. The Knicks really did it. 🥹

I’ll never forget how immaculate it was seeing this commercial immediately after the Knicks winning the ring

Malika: "You're willing to take less (money)?" KAT: "Oh yeah, because I want this team to stay together. That's always been my main priority was to keep everyone here, to keep this core, this special team that we have. So it was the first thing on my mind as soon as it was. And there was nowhere in my mind a max was even thought of" Jalen to KAT: "Sign the contract" 😁

BIG UPDATE: The Knicks have hung the NBA Cup banner.

Some news: As of today, I will once again be covering the Knicks full time. Very excited to be teaming up with @JLEdwardsIII at @TheAthletic (just as we've done in the playoffs the past couple of seasons) so we can put together top-notch day-to-day coverage.

Moussa Cissé’s spot on the Mavericks’ roster could be in serious jeopardy, as he could potentially be waived, per @TheSteinLine The Lakers, 76ers, Bulls, and Hawks have reportedly expressed significant interest in him. “There's a growing expectation among rival teams that Moussa Cissé is the Dallas player in the greatest jeopardy. The Stein Line has learned, however, that Cissé is a real candidate to be claimed off waived in the event he is let go. Chicago, sources say, has interest in the high-energy big man. I'm told Atlanta also has interest even though the Hawks don't currently have an open standard spot…If Cissé were to be waived Monday and then clear waivers Wednesday, I'm also told that the 76ers and Lakers would have strong interest in signing him to a two-way deal even though neither team currently has a two-way opening.” (Via marcstein.substack.com/p/mor…)

#BREAKING: Ben Stiller will not release his Knicks documentary amid controversy concerns, per sources. I’m told Stiller felt that the footage that his crew captured would, “paint several Knicks players in a negative light. Namely Brunson and Hart.” Sources also indicated that Stiller’s contractual buyout with A24 and HBO was partly financed by Knicks owner James Dolan.
