Well, my Batman Arkham Asylum subtitle fix is now irrelevant, but looks like I've fixed the crash-on-launch issue on SpongeBob SquarePants Employee of the Month.

I am proud to announce that I have finally fixed the 17-year-old subtitle scaling bug in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Stream/video and public release to follow soon.
Since the game's release in Summer 2009, subtitles don't scale on high resolution screens, making them nearly unreadable at high resolutions. I've finally fixed this so the game's subtitles are actually readable even at 4k.
And this fix is user-customizable, so if you want extra big subtitles, you can just edit the config file.
As soon as I've got some free time, I'll do a stream or video explaining the problem, the solution, the insane amount of reverse engineering involved, and release the fix.
The turboautism paid off.
Looks like someone else made their own version? I haven't tried it out but it seems like it's a little better than mine, except you have to specify the scaling factor manually instead of it being automatically determined based on your resolution.
