This guy should just go away. I can't buy RAM because of his bullshit.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

This is a lot of words to be wrong. In ranked choice voting, if republicans were really confused as to which Dan was the one they wanted, they would just put both as 1 and 2.
The Alaska ballot situation is unique because of its Rank Choice Voting. If it was First Past the Post, the inclusion of a similarly named Independent or Third Party candidate to the Republican candidate wouldn't be that big of deal, because what few votes such a candidate took away from the Republican would get balanced out by the votes that would get taken away from the Democratic candidate. And that's why this unprecedented situation doesn't have any neat laws to deal with it. But with RCV, it's an entirely different reality, since voters for whom the Republican candidate isn't the first choice might still choose that candidate as their second or third choice, Democratic voters can choose their candidate first and the potemkin candidate as their second to inflate the distortion, and the entire model of voting gets corrupted as the Republican candidate loses votes for first, second, third, and on down the list, with the impact on the integrity of the vote getting more pronounced with each simulated runoff. It conpletely turns the benefit of RCV upside down by ensuring muddied runoff results for one contender in hopes that the other benefits. In my view, since we now know this was coordinated, this is most definitely an attempt to defraud voters. But how Alaska deals with the situation is anyone's guess because, as I said, the laws are not well equipped to handle this novel question. At the very least, I hope the recruited pretender is suspended as a legitimate candidate, and if the ballots cannot be corrected in this short window, then an effort should be made to notify the public and some kind of understanding made where the Republican candidate gets at least a portion if not all the votes that might still go to the recruited pretender.

"It seems to me that you have an election, the person who wins the most votes should win" OH REALLY VANCE? Are you sure you want to go this route?
JD Vance on ranked choice voting: "I don't understand it. It seems to me that you have an election, the person who wins the most votes should win. That seems to be not what happens with ranked choice voting. The fact that it's so confusing to a person who pays pretty close attention to politics I think suggests we should do our elections in, like, the normal way."

Having to us AI to rewrite resumes and cover letters so I can pass the AI screen sucks so much.
I don’t know how you put the cork back in the bottle, but insofar as it is possible to eliminate the use of AI or algorithmic screening from hiring processes, it’d probably be good for society.

How good is Cyrus Allen? Was he a good Veach pick? We will never know b/c the staff won't play him.
Fine, actually play him and feature him and trade for BTJ instead, then.

....outside of CEH (who still wasn't bad), these seem good..?
Every Chiefs first round pick in the Brett Veach era: 2020: CEH (32) 2022: McDuffie (21), Karlaftis (30) 2023: FAU (31) 2024: Worthy (28) 2025: Simmons (32) 2026: Delane (6), P Woods (29)

Veach will trade for one of these and then get told 1) the price was too much and 2) that he doesn't bring in any help
The Chiefs have no shortage of great WR options at the Trade Deadline

Cool. Now imagine the kind of vile messages that an 18-year-old college girl received after you spread false rumors about her sex life on your giant platform of a show.
It’s been a fun October.. excited to get to Halloween. Here’s a couple fun screenshots from this month. I don’t know if Karey from Derry is real or not but, the picture on the left is from a very real man in Ohio. I’ve stayed away from my mentions and DM’s this month since these back to back days but.. I’m sure if I went in there now, I’d find some wishes for and threats of death for me. “Don’t read them.” They’re everywhere. Annnd.. They still exist though right? I just don’t know the person is in Ohio then? That’s where I’m at now. So I do get a bit fucked up when a couple days after The New York Times releases a “WE ARE ALLOWED TO AND SHOULD HATE THIS GUY” piece, a University puts a video out from their own page, indicating “we think he’s a corny creep here.” It’s a weird time. The things that get said about what my daughter and son and wife deserve are all rather wild as well. I haven’t talked to anybody about what the days were like leading up to Tennessee’s GameDay last year. There’s been some misreporting but in the ball park articles. Everybody in the “security” world was worried of a copycat incident potentially happening. GameDay was a few days out and we were the next huge gathering on a campus. The world, in front of the entire internet, just proved that we had gotten to a rather extreme place. The FBI.. alongside, Disney security, Tennessee State Police, Knoxville PD, University Police, everybody in area, all had the very same goal to protect the shit out of the area. FBI snipers were sent down there, huge presence of police.. it was a surreal moment. The conversation about the death threats I had been receiving in life was definitely a huge topic. I don’t think it was the FBI that suggested the Bullet Proof Vest, but it was certainly an idea presented by one of the security groups. We had no idea what to expect. Nobody had been in that type of situation before. Everybody wanted the best for everybody. I never felt safer and never felt more appreciative of the people that were around me that morning including the students that came out and did WAY more than they could’ve ever imagined for my soul. How’d we get here? I had to wrestle with that a bit. FBI’s sending snipers so me and the lads don’t get shot. That’s crazy. I don’t know if they teach how you’re supposed to handle these types of things in classes or something but, I was a bit rattled by the current reality of my World. I think what I realized was, when I talked about the Algerian Olympic Gold Medal boxer, and then I was HEADLINE Quoted and Captioned by platforms with rather large influence over certain communities, they left out the massive empathy part of the conversation that I had about the entire subject. I was labeled and immediately targeted. Such is life I guess.. since then, every mistake, misstep or misquote relaunches A LOT of folks into a frenzy of me being the worst person on Earth who needs to be eliminated, and they gain more and more folks who want me unalived or as they actually say it “Kirked.” I was created on the internet. I’ve been “cooked” and shit talked and criticized since I have memories. I am no where near perfect.. and there’s no way everybody is gonna agree with me but I had no idea that this is just what life would become. I’m trying my best in real time but.. I am to talk about sports and care about the future of sports. I owe everything to sports. I’m grateful as hell to do what I do. I literally try to love every minute of the incredible opportunities I get to experience but.. it’s certainly all a much different life than I could’ve ever expected. I try to give everything I have, all the time.. I am very sorry to those that despise me. The video is how I opened The Tennessee show.. I put on a USA Sports Coat and celebrated Ball. I love sports because it’s unifying. That’s all I’m ever trying to be… actually. & Connor.. I LOVE YOU BROTHER, I’m sorry I’ve brought you lads into all of this as well.

There are certain fans who are still mad at Veach about the Frank Clark signing even though it was fantastic.
Chiefs got dividends from giving up a first for Frank Clark. It wasnt a big homerun but it was a change. Chiefs should consider those swings. Our late first round picks havent panned out. Maybe trade late 1st rounds for blue chippers who we will need to pay right away
