I can hardly imagine anyone who hasn’t seen this photograph. But it was taken on this day in 2000.
I cannot believe the photo is 26 years old now.
The boy in the photograph was Fares Odeh. He was just 14 years old.
Ten days after this image was captured, Fares went out again to throw stones at Israeli tanks, seeking to avenge the killing of his 17-year-old cousin.
An Israeli sniper shot him in the neck, killing him.
And there is another chilling detail to this photograph.
The photo changed Israeli tank doctrine. In August 2001, The Jerusalem Post quoted an anonymous tank doctrinist saying tank personnel were now instructed to fire upon rock-throwers.

Article VI of the Constitution is unequivocal: there is no religious test for public office. Imposing sectarian litmus tests to disqualify candidates based on their faith is a direct assault on the pluralistic values and constitutional guardrails that define our democratic republic.
Senator Moreno's remarks were not only bigoted against American Muslims, but also Jews, Sikhs, Buddhists, and everyone else who does not share his understanding of Christianity. Every Senator should renounce his anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic and un-American remarks.

Another part of the Piker-Jennings lawsuit is that Brad Parsquale is the CSO of Salem Media Group, which owns Scott Jennings Podcast.
Brad Parsquale also owns Clock Tower X, which employs Abby Ronson, who is Mike Rogers Comms Director.
