It is high time that New York, the state home to more Jews than other state in the country, joined the majority of states and countless countries, entities, and government agencies that have already embraced this definition of antisemitism.

NYPD reports 30 antisemitic incidents last month, a 200% increase over the same period last year, and, as usual, more than all hate crimes against all other groups combined

My timeline shows numerous videos of American flags being mistreated and even burned by Hamas supporters on college campuses.
Contrast those scenes with the billboard I saw on a highway today in Queens, NY.
Patriotism is one of the many values found in a Yeshiva education. 🇺🇸

If she's writing about it, it means few are covering it, the issue is important, and an incisive piece about it is at your disposal.
Miss a @slowhoneybee piece at your own peril.
Families that like educating their children outside the public school system should be paying attention to what’s been happening with Hasidic yeshivas in New York. My latest nationalreview.com/2023/09/n…

Empowering the government to micromanage nonpublic education would homogenize all schools, and there would be no escaping the dominant educational culture. | @slowhoneybee trib.al/l0ZW0jC

I’m back with a third article on New York’s Hasidic yeshivas. This time I looked at what happens when education bureaucrats are empowered to judge religious schools. nationalreview.com/2023/09/n…

The people responsible for pandemic-related school closures and learning loss in NYC are also judging the education at NYC’s Hasidic yeshivas. My latest on the problems with those evaluations—nationalreview.com/2023/09/n…

Thorough and amazingly written article on the state of the @NYSEDNews battle on Yeshivas by @slowhoneybee
"DOE’s reviews convey neither respect nor an understanding of yeshiva education. Rather, they highlight that yeshivas fail at being public schools."

At New Jersey expo, Satmar Chassidim conduct business with a purpose. An honest and objective look at the incredible success and work ethic of this often misunderstood community. An article like this would normally change minds & perceptions. The problem is many critics and haters are dishonest, ill-informed & hardly objective. Bigotry and good old-fashioned antisemitism seems to attract the lowest form of humanity.

New York Times complains too many Orthodox Jews are on NYC Jewish Advisory Council
"According to the reporter Dana Rubenstein, there is a shortage of what she considers to be the “archetypical Jewish New Yorker” on the council. In her mind, that is a Jew who “might be found on the Upper West Side, somewhere between Zabar’s and Barney Greengrass.” The stereotyping here is almost unbelievable." washingtonexaminer.com/opini…

After writing 3k words on NYT and New York’s yeshivas, I thought I was done. But after seeing AG Sulzberger taking a victory lap on that reporting, I had more to say.
"Interviews with 34 people, including yeshiva graduates, parents & education scholars, illuminated deep flaws in [@nytimes] reporting...because of what it includes & what it excludes. Several people called it 'cartoonish' or 'a caricature.'"
