Today we salute @MMC_Tshegofatso outgoing MMC for Health, @Tshwane .
You leave Tshwane better than you found it.
In just 2 years, you made sure over 1 million residents were served in our 24 city clinics, and you kept all 24 at Ideal Clinic Platinum Status.
You pushed patient satisfaction from 87% to 90% and kept medicines at 95%, people felt the difference.
You took healthcare to the people over 15,000 reached by mobile clinics in Soshanguve, Mooiplaas, Olievenhoutbosch and more.
You renovated Olievenhoutbosch Clinic, extended hours to 19:00, and over 8,000 patients benefited.
And you handed over the Lusaka Clinic site in Mamelodi for Ext 22, Alaska, Pienerspoort, Stoffel Park, Riverside & it's Extensions.
You gave our people safe, quality and dignified healthcare.
Thank you for your service, MMC. Salute!

We salute the outgoing MMC @ennie_makhafola , Health & Social Development, @CityofJoburgZA .
You're not just an MMC, you're a nurse who went back to heal the system.
In 2 years you gave us:
The first ever free sanitary pads programme for girls 10-19, from Doornkop to all 75 Joburg clinics, R10m to end period poverty so our girls stay in school.
The R90m Naledi Clinic in Soweto, you replaced a container with a proper clinic: 20 rooms, 4 wings, 200 seats.
Dignity restored.
E-Health for our nurses, laptops for DDC, HPRS & e-booking at clinics to kill the queues. Plus your Nurses' Imbizo & clinic clean-ups.
And you never forgot social development — blankets, food parcels & care for the vulnerable on Mandela Day and beyond.
You lead with care, like a true nurse. Joburg thanks you, Fighter.
Patriots where are you lol.
There was a well-funded campaign against the EFF.
The DA and the EFF hold the same position on illegal immigration, yet the virulent campaign targeted the EFF.
Same idiots who attacked the EFF on this issue voted for the DA.
The issue was never about illegal immigration. It was about collapsing the EFF.
That campaign has failed dismally.
We will defeat them again next time.
It is what it is, it was what it was, it will be what it will be, that is economic freedom fighters.
The People of Gauteng are Ready to Vote for Land, Jobs, Water and to deliver the EFF into Local Government.

At this point, the attacks on Dr Tlaleng Mofokeng are starting to look like a paid smear campaign disguised as political debate. Every discussion supposedly starts with immigration policies but somehow always ends with misogynistic insults, personal attacks and attempts to humiliate her.
Why is it only her? Why is Nasiphi Moya never subjected to this same relentless interrogation? Why isn’t she constantly dragged into debates about ActionSA’s opposition to BEE, its economic policies that protect existing white wealth, or the millions donated to her party by the Oppenheimer family?
ActionSA’s own 2026 manifesto does not even explicitly promise deportations or restrictions on asylum applications. It merely proposes enforcing existing immigration laws and referring suspected violations to the relevant authorities. Yet Dr Tlaleng is attacked daily as though the EFF invented immigration.
You can criticise Dr Tlaleng’s politics without attacking her dignity as a Black woman. But when every supposed policy debate ends in misogynoir, stop insulting our intelligence by calling it political accountability.
The selective outrage is becoming embarrassingly obvious.

Every year, President @Julius_S_Malema proudly hosts the annual Last Dance “Matric Dance” for matriculants from his former high school, as part of his many initiatives to give back to his community and celebrate with purpose.
This special event is his way of motivating matric learners from underprivileged communities and schools as they prepare for the biggest exams of their young lives.
Yesterday, the President hosted learners from two incredible schools: Mohlakaneng High School and Moruleng High School. The excitement was electric. Our guest speaker, @Nathasha_Thahane, gave a moving motivational talk.
After a day filled with inspiration, celebration, and memories to last a lifetime, the President made sure they returned safely to their schools.
To every matriculant, this is your moment to dream big, work hard, and shine bright. We believe in you. All the best for your exams. #VoteEFF2026

My friends dad says we are going to wake up one day and have amaphara as ministers because we are too busy to attend to politics 🥺 we don’t belong to branches, we are not concerned with being influential in the various structures yet we have the audacity to complain that we have unqualified and uneducated ministers. It’s because they concerned themselves with local politics and thina with our degrees and big English we’re just chasing money.

I’m upset that he’s so correct. The most organized political party in this country is a movement of people who make the time…qualified or unqualified. They also are a mobilisation machine!!! So, the people at the conference will vote for the options they have.. whether they are bribed to or not… Oksalayo… the options they have are then what the country gets when they win! 😭😩😣
It’s our fault we are where we are today. We are not being the change we want to see… whichever party you believe is better than the other, if you want change, get involved.
Also… remember to vote on 4 November 😭🙏🏼
