This recent paper in @Dev_Cell includes Serial Block Face Imaging on a @thermosciEMSpec Apreo Volume Scope followed by segmentation and visualization in Amira Software! Great study, and congrats to the authors.
New study by Ivan Bedzohv’s team @emselor published in @Dev_Cell identifies Rap1 as a central factor for orchestrating the morphogenetic program that reshapes the epiblast. Congratulations 🎉 to the entire team on this great work!

How does the yeast nuclear pore complex ‘punch’ a hole in the nuclear envelope to create a functional transport channel? A recent collaborative study from the @KarstenWeisLab implicates the protein Brl1 in this membrane fusion event. More: biol.ethz.ch/en/news-and-eve…
On my way to #tomo2022! So much looking forward to it! I can't wait to meet old friends and make new ones with those I only know by name from papers or twitter! So many awesome developments! First,  I have to bicycle to catch my train to be on time for the 1st session in 5 hrs.
