We're now inviting expressions of interest from national atherosclerosis or related societies interested in hosting the EAS Congress in 2029 or 2030.
Each year, the EAS Congress brings together leading experts, clinicians, and researchers in the field of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular prevention. The congress moves between European cities to ensure accessibility for members across regions and is organized in collaboration with the national society of the host country.
To assist you in preparing a proposal, please refer to the EAS Congress Bid Guide, which outlines the process, requirements, and selection criteria: eas.to/EASGuideBid @ProfKausikRay @KatiOorni

In recent weeks, our focus has been on the EAS Congress and the new Consensus Statement, but we mustn't forget about our recent AtheroTalk episodes.
One of them addresses the question: How do you build confidence and momentum early in your research career? Prof. @KroonLab shares his perspective on navigating the competitive world of academic science. From applying for grants to leading innovative research, he offers practical advice on taking bold steps forward.
His key message? “Don’t hesitate – go for it!” Whether it’s your first grant application or a new research idea, Prof. Kroon encourages young scientists to be proactive and persistent.
