Friends, this article is probably my favorite that I’ve written thus far in my career. In this piece, in @CI_Editors, I write about the ideologies of names + naming, and theorize a curriculum of names through my own adoption story.

Söyleşinin temel çağrısı, Yemen’i hazır etiketlerle değerlendirmekten vazgeçmek. Yıllarca süren bombardıman, abluka ve dış destekli savaş ülkenin sorunlarını ağırlaştırdı. Kalıcı barışın yolu, müdahaleyi yeni ortaklarla genişletmekten değil; dış askerî desteğin sona ermesinden ve Yemenlilerin kendi geleceklerini belirleyebilmesinden geçiyor.

SF has a closure rate on sexual assault cases that is half what other California counties have. 14%
And they explain why. Everything is politicized, and the police work for the DA. The DA acts as judge and effectively dismisses cases in advance.
Our amazing DA, Brooke Jenkins, made sure that SF’s clearance rate for sexual assault cases is at 14%. Half the national average and the lowest among California cities.
This common sense leadership is why GropeSF (fka @growsf) endorsed Jenkins! And we’ll do it again!

This is a disgusting abuse of power from an out of control president, who has been obsessed with attacking Ilhan Omar and the entire Somali American population for years. To use federal law enforcement resources to raid the home of a sitting Member of Congress weeks before an election is a dangerous sign of an authoritarian president who will stop at nothing to distract you from his deep unpopularity with the American people. We stand with Ilhan. You come for one of us, you come for all us.

This raid against Rep. Omar is an extreme abuse of power and an escalation of a years-long campaign against her. Trump should not be allowed to politicize the federal government against elected officials. I stand with @Ilhan.

Matt is a post-2023 convert to Zionism, expressly because of the genocide, pogroms, and wars on Iran and Lebanon. He sees all of this as the polar opposite of left values, and thus, his polar orientation.
