I've finally narrowed down my Flag Plant players for 2026 This is it; these are "My Guys" and "My Fades" that I am resting my reputation on But please, understand the reasoning behind the players I am fading 1. Their upside is not high enough relative to their ADP cost (I don't see them as "league-winners" in 2026) 2. There are other options near their ADP that I like a lot more 3. I expect them to underperform relative to their ADP or that they'll be volatile to the point they can't be trusted in your lineup on a weekly basis 4. They fall in an ADP range where I would much rather draft a different position (typically RB over WR or RB/WR over QB/TE)

Tim McManus asks Nick Sirianni if they'll consider shutting down DeVonta Smith due to his repeated hamstring injuries That's it, that was the whole question and this is Sirianni's response - I don't even know if "shutting down" was intended to refer to the entire season or just an extended period of time I also have no idea how this fear-mongering propoganda spread like wildfire in the last hour That DeVonta Smith is now at risk to miss the entire season due to his hamstring injury At no point in this exchange does it sound like that is the most realistic option given his injury Could it happen, sure. But that does not sound like that is what is being mulled over by the Eagles I wouldn't be surprised if he goes on IR, but he just played an entire game last week with a career-high 14 targets I guess we play the incredibly fun waiting game fueled by wildly inaccurate injury reporting from journalists and "insiders" alike
“It’s been unfortunate” — Nick Sirianni when asked if the Eagles are considering shutting down WR DeVonta Smith due to his lingering hamstring injury Sirianni says Smith has been attacking his rehab

Caleb Williams has looked fantastic so far this season, but how much has he improved year over year? I used @FantasyPtsData to create a chart showing Williams' growth in six passing categories! The numbers are overwhelmingly positive nearly across the board

Bruh 😭😭😭 Rome Odunze only has 2 drops this season (5.4% drop rate) - He has a 77.8% contested catch rate as well (7 out of 9 contested targets) I'll admit he hasn't been playing to his potential, but the stats aren't THAT bad🤓
Rome odunze couldn’t catch aids if he fucked magic Johnson

I think I can finally admit this to myself. I don't think Josh Downs will ever break out in Indianapolis Which is due entirely to a combination of Daniel Jones and Shane Steichen Call it copium, but Downs is being held back by abysmal QB play and a scheme that refuses to play to his strengths Downs' 0.186 Average Separation Score (ASS) ranks in the 98th percentile, while his 0.20 TPRR sits in the 48th percentile - He has the 8th-highest team separation win rate market share in the league (38.1%) - He has the 2nd-lowest negative route win rate (2.0%) He is separating at a high level in every single WR role there is (per @FantasyPtsData): - X (out wide) ASS of 0.296 (WR6) - Z (off the line) ASS of 0.222 (WR7) - F (slot) ASS of 0.155 (WR14) Yet, a 34-year-old Keen Allen, who has an ASS in the 16th percentile (0.007), is being fed a TPRR of 0.29 (89th percentile) - He has a first-read target share of 25.6% (compared to Downs' 23.6%) Here is how Daniel Jones ranks as a passer this season (out of 34 eligible QBs): 5.92 YPA (QB30) 71.1 Passer Rating (QB31) 4.33 ANY/A (QB32) -4.0% CPOE (QB31) 5.5% Turnover Worthy Throw Rate (QB3) -0.135 EPA/DB (QB29) Get Downs the fuck out of Indianapolis, fire Steichen, or replace Jones with someone off the street

I wanted to see if there was any merit to the notion that Rome Odunze is not being targeted as often as he should be 1. Odunze's 0.129 ASS ranks in the 90th percentile and his 14.7% Route Win Rate ranks in the 71st percentile - Yet, he has a TPRR of 0.17 (33rd percentile) 2. Odunze has an aDOT of 13.6 yards that ranks in the 71st percentile - So, he is getting open at a high rate on a deeper route tree, but not getting targeted very often 3. Is Caleb Williams not targeting Odunze as much because of that deeper route tree? - Caleb's Deep Pass Rate has gone down from 13.0% in 2024 to 11.4% in 2025 to just 6.5% in 2026 4. Caleb is close to the most underneath passer in the league right now - Only 22.6% of his attempts travel 10+ air yards (6th percentile - 6.5% of his attempts go 20+ yards (6th percentile) - 52.3% of his attempts go 5 or fewer yards (88th percentile) I think this is enough to suggest that Odunze's lack of production has far less to do with his level of play than it does with how the offense has changed in 2026 - It is far more focused on shorter passes to it's lower aDOT WRs who specialize in YAC (Luther Burden, Kalif Raymond, and Colston Loveland) Metrics per @FantasyPtsData

It's new chart Saturday! I have Passer Rating when Targeted vs. TPRR (per @FantasyPtsData) Which WRs are connecting with their QB at the highest level but may be under-targeted? Yes, this is a Jaylin Noel chart 😤 I blame Daniel Jones for all of my pain and suffering

Word around the street is that the Jaguars are looking to trade Brian Thomas Jr. What's he worth these days? Because there is a lot of evidence to suggest that he's the worst WR in the league this season (per @FantasyPtsData) He is the only WR who has NEGATIVE yards after contact per reception (-0.11 YACO/Rec) -His 0.67 YAC/Rec also ranks dead last He currently leads the entire league in Drop Rate at 22.2% - He ranks 83rd in Catch Rate (50.0%) If these are not two of the most damning metrics pertaining to his fall-off and complete lack of effort, I don't know what else would be

Maybe a little too hyperbolic with “worst WR in the league” Probably should have worded it as “playing like one of the league’s worst WRs”

Checking back in on this 🤔
Is it possible the Commanders got the STEAL of free agency, and the Patriots downgraded at WR1 despite paying 3x as much?! 🤔 @FantasyPtsData

How do the NFL teams compare in rushing and passing efficiency this season? I used @FantasyPtsData to chart EPA/Dropback vs. EPA/Rush It's incredible what the 49ers have been able to do this season despite the sheer number of injuries they've had on offense Electrical Substation has nothing on this team! Also, Kenneth Walker is him; that is all

I know that the Bears offense is among the league's best, and Ben Johnson has been absolutely cooking But why is Luther Burden ever seeing less than a 70% route share in any game? - The Bears gain +0.266 EPA/Play with Burden on the field These are Luther Burden's metrics when he sees above a 50% route share since 2025 (per @FantasyPtsData) 2.78 YPRR (WR5) 7.75 YAC/Rec (WR2) 0.120 1D/RR (WR8) 0.27 MTF/Rec (WR2) 3.59 YPTOE (WR1) 0.580 EPA/Target (WR15) 0.52 FP/RR (WR10 He is built to be the focal point of the Bears' passing offense and should be getting the type of volume Amon-Ra St. Brown experienced with Ben Johnson in Detroit

53.6% of AJ Brown's routes in Week 7 were Go routes (6 total) or In/Dig routes (9 total) He recorded an -0.107 Average Separation Score (ASS) and 14.3% Route Win Rate across his 28 total routes Here is his Route Participation Tree and ASS scores for those routes It feels like we are seeing a similar story to that of last year when Brown dealt with a hamstring injury on and off in the first half of the season Metrics per @FantasyPtsData
I want to see the next gen stats of all the routes ran by AJ Brown Doesn’t feel like he has had an extensive route tree
