Ever wondered why @peaq block time is 6s even though on it's architecture test claim was 500ms + 49K TPS? As a parachain of Polkadot, peaq could achieve shorter block time by adding more cores.
3 cores is enough to cut the block time to 2s, to achive 500ms you need 12 cores! βοΈ
