We’ve recently seen an increase in reports of people getting sick with norovirus-like illness (vomiting & diarrhea) after eating raw oysters in restaurants. Eating raw or undercooked oysters carries a high risk of making you sick.

UPDATE – Food benefit emergency allotments: DSHS has received approval to provide extra food benefits up to the maximum allowed for each household for April 2022.

If you normally receive your food benefits April 1 - 2, you will see the emergency allotment amount on your EBT card April 2.
If you normally receive your food benefits between April 3 - 20, you will receive the full amount on your regular issuance date.
