What better way to kick off #ReadyTogether than by bringing young people together to talk about building stronger, more prepared communities? We recently launched Ready Together at the Archie Gooch Pavilion in Ilminster, Somerset, alongside our Royal Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales @KensingtonRoyal, and our Ambassador, @RossKemp. Young footballers from @Ilminster_Town_ got stuck into conversations about different aspects of emergency planning, including essential supplies, communications, working with their community and resilient homes ⚽ They came up with some fantastic ideas for building more resilient communities, with some also sharing personal stories of how neighbours had supported each other during previous floods. A huge thank you to the young footballers and their coaches for getting involved! 👏 And that's exactly what Ready Together is about. You don't need to be an expert to help your community prepare. Sometimes, all it takes is starting a conversation.
