1 year ago today the world lost an incredible man, Matt.
Our thoughts are closely with Deb, Harry, Ellie & Matt’s family & circle of friends.
Gathering at his memorial, we reflect on the immense impact Matt had on everyone, leaving behind a legacy that will live on forever ❤️
There was more to this game than the scoreline suggests…
Decent performance - lots of positives - keep moving forward, onto the next 💪
Our forever legend,
❤️Matt Beard❤️
… … YNWA … …
Liverpool Football Club has honoured Matt Beard, unveiling permanent memorials which recognise his extraordinary contribution to the club and the lasting impact he made on players, staff and supporters ❤️
Ahead of the first anniversary of his passing, a private ceremony was held at AXA Melwood for players, staff and Matt’s family, where a memorial garden in his name was officially unveiled.
This was followed by the planting of a commemorative tree in his honour on 97 Avenue - creating a permanent place where fans can visit and remember Matt’s enduring connection to LFC Women.
