Live report: “The port belongs to those who work there, and to this city." Dockworkers at more than 110 ports in 22 countries, across five continents, are striking today against the genocide in Gaza and the arms shipments that sustain it. In Genoa, thousands of port workers and students have joined USB's general strike. Now, after the manifestation started with burning tires in the streets and blocking the roadway to the terminals, thousands are marching through the city. "Today we'll block everything, then march into the port, because the port is our home,” said José Nivoi of CALP. I'll be here reporting on the ground throughout the day as things develop.
