Question for the #writingcommunity. Do you give your work a title before or after you've written it? I see so many people asking for titles for a story they are writing, but for me, I can never name a story until it's finished.

This morning my 5 yr old boy was watching me put on mascara. He was clearly fascinated by what I was doing. He asked why I was doing it. I said because I like it and it makes me feel pretty. He then said, “I want to wear makeup too”.
Now, this is where some insane mothers these days would take his request as some kind of hint that he’s really a girl, but actually he just wanted to look nice too. So I helped him dress up in his nicest holiday suit and of course a tie so he could feel handsome. I complemented and hugged him, and we took pictures.
He wasn’t telling me was a girl— All he wanted was to feel special with his mom. That’s all they really want.
