Delighted to have joined, virtually, Hon @simonjbridges and the 🇳🇿 #business leaders who went on a business trip to Poland, Czechia, Hungary and Romania back in June, for a post-visit debrief organized in Auckland last week! Together with 🇪🇺 Ambassador HE @LMeredithEU, 🇭🇺 Ambassador HE Dr Gábor Tamás Nagy, as well as Honorary Consuls @ROConsNZ and Petra Lipoth, we could not be happier to see and hear the enthusiasm for the opportunities our markets can offer to New Zealand businesses. I was glad to hear that, even though the main focus of the trip was on business, the delegation also really appreciated the meetings they had with Secretary of State at #Poland’s @PolandMFA @WTBartoszewski and President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the @KancelariaSejmu, @pawelkowalpl, which gave them insight and better understanding of #Europe’s, and #Poland’s political priorities. The delegation is now back in 🇳🇿, the seeds have been sown, and I hope the new relationships established in Poland and CEE will bear fruit in the future.
