Good to see these test results, let’s hope they incentivise the manufacturers to address the shortfalls to make their cars safe for all passengers.

More than Groundhog Day messages are needed to reduce road crash trauma this Christmas.

I am a little puzzled here. The Action Plan appears to have been “agreed” subject to jurisdiction’s’ “approval “ in perhaps 6 weeks time after almost 12 months of “engagement “. Does the Action Plan agree with the 61 recommendations of the bipartisan Join…lnkd.in/gaHEB8H5
We can only hope that there is priority given to assessing the essential safety benefits of investment in road infrastructure so often overlooked by IA in the past.

Surprisingly despite PM and Opposition Leader experiencing a road crash recently at close hand and a Joint Parliamentary Inquiry in March making 61 recommendations for a different road safety program our leaders are silent on disrupting and the resources for road safety reform.
Last week started and ended in tragedy on Queensland's roads but a researcher is working to turn that around abc.net.au/news/2022-05-18/q…
