VOTE NO on ALL THREE City of Miami referendum items.
Mayor Eileen Higgins and Commissioners Miguel Gabela, Rolando Escalona and Ralph Rosado are going to BANKRUPT the city, RAISE our taxes and DOUBLE the debt to $2 BILLION. All while lining the pockets of their cronies — who will kick back cash to them. #BecauseMiami

The CIA took out newspaper ads in the 1960s to recruit able-bodied men in Miami to invade Cuba. Do we need their "help"? Why can't we do this ourselves?

Miami Tax Collector says vote YES ON 3. #propertytaxreform
Amendment 3 is about people. It is about you, your family, and protecting the homes and futures of millions of people in Miami-Dade County and across Florida.
Your home represents years of sacrifice, the memories you have made, and the life you have built. Families deserve relief and the peace of mind of knowing they can afford to stay in their homes.
As a husband, father, and homeowner, this is personal to me. Our families are not an unlimited bank account. Government must manage money responsibly and respect the people paying the bills.
That is why I support Amendment 3 and ask you to vote YES. In Miami-Dade, mark 254 on your ballot. Your home. Your family. Your future.
Tu hogar. Tu familia. Tu futuro.

This thin 🤏 of a margin
Let's call this the Libertarian margin
@ScottJewettFL will make or break this contest
Good morning. A newly-released poll from the U. of North Florida has the governor's race in a dead heat. It has @ByronDonalds up 2% over @davidjollyfl which is within the margin of error. UNF's Sean Freedeer said “a win by either candidate would be unsurprising.”

Republicans are desperate
BREAKING: The Republican Party of Florida wants a judge to pull a Democratic TV ad about the Hope Florida grand jury report. It says airing the report's "content, gist, or import" is now a crime.
The lawsuit, filed at 11:36 p.m. Friday in Highlands County, targets the Florida Democratic Party, its three statewide candidates and 11 TV stations in Orlando and Tampa Bay.
The party also referred the stations to FDLE and prosecutors. One copy went to the statewide prosecutor, who works in AG James Uthmeier's office. Uthmeier is the candidate the ad targets.
What the lawsuit leaves out:
- The grand jury report has been public since Aug. 26.
- The appeals court ruling it relies on isn't final until Friday at the earliest.
- The U.S. Supreme Court struck down part of the same secrecy law in 1990.
Early voting starts Monday in many counties.

“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

Thomas Massie responds to media when asked about the latest developments on the Epstein Files: “You know, if this were a private law firm with 5% of the resources of the DOJ, this would have been done by the deadline. And they just missed another deadline, which is the report to Congress, which is supposed to list all the politicians that are in their files, and also they’re supposed to justify all the redactions 15 days after the first 30-day window.
But the biggest problem isn’t that they’re missing the deadlines—it’s what they’re redacting. So they’re citing the Privacy Act and they’re trying to pretend like that overrides a law that we just passed that says you can’t withhold records to prevent embarrassment. They’re also citing FOIA standards which don’t apply to our law when they’re trying to say that they don’t have to release internal decisions, but our bill specifically says release internal decisions.”
The victims will NEVER see justice.
And the saddest part? These perpetrators are still out there raping, trafficking and murdering children.
