'Doctor Who' Makes History With Its First Ever Same-Sex Kiss In 60 Years deadline.com/2024/06/doctor-…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The first on-screen same-sex kiss happened in 2005 in ‘The Parting of the Ways’. There have been several since, including in ‘Deep Breath’ (2014), ‘The Doctor Falls’ (2017) and ‘Praxeus’ (2020).

Confession time: I've always liked The End of Time and I was surprised when I found out most fans hate it. Not a fan of skeletor, but it's the Master, he has been a slimy sludge, half-cat, half-battle AI, a snake, a possessed dude, a ring, a tooth, good and everything in between.
Just realized 13's last words to the TARDIS are "look after the next one". Pretty awful considering 14 only had 5min inside the TARDIS in the 60th specials before getting a copy and the plot of one of them revolved around the TARDIS abandoning him in the middle of hostile action.
I'm sure fans will even get angry at the Crew Doctor having 4 fingers, but I couldn't be more excited for this show! 💞

AI slop is AI slop. If it’s incorporated into new Doctor Who, I won’t be watching. In 1963, it was practically held together with sellotape, and made with love by real people. AI is an insult to all of those amazing folk who fought to bring it to life all those years ago ❤️

Support human (and Time Lord) artists!! ✨
There are so many talented people in the #DoctorWho community. From YouTubers to fan artists, writers to prop makers, cosplayers to cabaret shows (*cough* @gallycab😘), please show them some love ❤️❤️

I thought tonight's episode of Ted Lasso would cheer me up and here I am crying over a football show 😭
If one drop of AI touches Doctor Who, we should all go into a relentless "this isn't canon, start over" mode. Like, a thousand times worse than what Jodie got from the incels. So bad that when they turn the comments off fans start sending them bags of manure through the post.
BBC Boss Matt Brittin Says He Has Seen A 'Doctor Who' Episode Entirely Generated By AI: "It Was Pretty Good" deadline.com/2026/09/doctor-…
Low-key someone has to regulate this. This movie JUST came out, re-releasing it with new scenes months later doesn't feel like a DLC, it feels like a scam. I'm not a hater of special editions, but this is a brand new movie (no pun intended)
-Strange New Worlds Puppet Episode Spoilers-
Was... Was Spock thinking of Muppet Pike when he died? 💀

Wondering how badly Bel would react if the Doctor implanted a hologram that reads her emotional memory and uses her ocular nerve without asking or telling her first 💀
ALT 13: I'm using your ocular nerve to scan, analyse and process.
Doctor Who potentially spending years off the air for the first time since 2005 is sad, but in hindsight, this is hilarious
ALT Mrs Flood: "Show ends May the 24th"
This is like the third clear hint that Pelia used to be the Doctor's companion, it has to be deliberate at this point 👀
ALT Pelia: "I think I was in a phone box at the time"
My one huge problem with The Witchfinders is that Willa's grandmother spends 14 seconds in the water and drowns. Who tf can't hold their breath for 14 seconds!? I always try to hold my breath when I watch it (haven't died yet)
