Just wanted to say thanks to the leadership of the LNC and I will continue to stand behind and promote the one party of principle. I had told myself I was going to watch the direction of the party, now I’m finally following thru on monthly donations (even if it’s just a little). Thank you to Evan @LPchair, Amanda @AjaxtheGriff (vice-chair), the awesome @RobYates (Comms Director), and others, and good luck with the Parity Project. @LPNational @LP_Allies The Republicans shitting on us also inspired me to finally do this 😂. But seriously, thanks for moving us in a positive direction and doing your best to separate the party from the rot.

A copy of a transcript in a case that I am a Plaintiff in is $1200 with a 30 day wait time. Proceedings aren't truly 'open to the public' if recording gets you arrested and the financial barrier for transparency is that unattainable for the average person. This is your federal government ladies and gentlemen. Transparency has a price ticket.

This feels like the classic lesser-evil defense. You’re comparing two relatively authoritarian parties that specialize in different violations of individual liberty. The fact that Democrats are profoundly anti-liberty does not magically turn the GOP, which still pushes Fourth Amendment violations like FISA 702, into a liberty-minded party. I also feel that this still doesn't answer the question for those who do not subscribe to the “jew-hate” that you describe, who recognize that neither of the major parties is liberty-minded enough to earn our votes.
Replying to @Skelly4Liberty
Republicans are far better than democrats. Not even comparable. It's a lie that they are comparable and an excuse to do nothing.

Today, and in the absence of any evidence, Putin's Ministry of Justice has declared the Libertarian Party of Russia a "foreign agent" in another despicable state attempt to silence dissenting voices deemed a threat to the status quo. In light of these events, the Libertarian Party of Russia has released the statement below. "Today, the Ministry of Justice added our party to the notorious register of 'foreign agents,' created for the sole purpose of preventing the existence of any alternative opinion that differs from the official position of the state. Those who have followed our activities for a long time know perfectly well that we have never received support from abroad or any foreign funding and have never had any ties to foreign organizations. As advocates of individual liberty, freedom of speech, and freedom of association, all of which are enshrined in the Constitution of the Russian Federation, we condemn any attempts to exert pressure on our fellow party members, including the imposition of absurd statuses that have no legal basis, no connection to physical reality or common sense, and that contradict the country’s fundamental law. Our party was established exclusively to carry out educational, social, humanitarian, and political activities for the benefit of Russia. We love our homeland, defend the interests of our fellow citizens, and have always been proud to do so. We are currently discussing the situation with our lawyers. Libertarian Party of Russia" I am proud to stand with LP Russia and all who advocate for self-determination, freedom of exchange, and civil liberties in the worldwide fight against totalitarianism, imperialism, and oppression.

James Gholston, @LP_Allies' in-house graphic genius, found a beat up 1970s LP ad, whereupon we promptly decided its absolutely baller aesthetic should be resurrected for all the things. Personally loving the retro styles making a comeback in resistance movement collateral.

If you don’t want ID checks to get online and arbitrary AI-determined permanent account lockouts, you MUST to call their rep to vote against the KIDS Act (with a name like that, you know it’s nothing but manipulative pandering). Directions on how in the comments to OT.
We have a little over 24 hours to save the internet. The vote is being rushed to the US House floor on Monday the 29th. "Buried inside the KIDS Act are provisions that will push online services to verify all users’ ages, require government-directed moderation policies for online speech, and even create new rules about private and encrypted communications." -- EFF eff.org/deeplinks/2026/06/ki… The bill has bipartisan support and large corporate donors, who all have a vested interest in eroding your privacy and freedom of speech. Similar bills have already passed in other countries and individual states and led to ID scanning mandates, faulty AI moderation, the removal of encrypted messaging, etc. If passed, some platforms will require ID scans from all users, some may try to deploy faulty 'estimation' technology that will randomly trigger and cause your accounts to be either permanently deleted or locked until you fork over an ID. These systems have been a disaster where deployed in other regions and led to many account losses and data breaches.

The Arizona Libertarian Party just WON a SUPREME COURT case. Wolford v. Lopez, decided 6-3, affirms firearm owners’ right to carry on publicly-accessible but not publicly-owned property (e.g., shops and hotels) unless the owner expressly forbids it. Dissenting alongside Justice Sotomayor, Justice Jackson argued that the Court’s decision privileges gun ownership over property ownership. But this belies a fundamental understanding as to what owned property’s “presumption of exclusivity” entails. This confusion is something that has perturbed me for a while when it comes to how commercial property differs from personal property, so permit me to go off for a moment. Exclusivity is the basic state of property when it is not publicly owned. If, however, an owner decides to render access to a property’s premises a means of generating revenue (for any given period of time), then the owner has rendered the property a place of market-based exchange (for that period of time). Being now a place of market-based exchange, and market-based exchange being (in principle) an institution of universal access, the property’s presumed character transforms from exclusive to inclusive. That is, when an institution of market-based exchange becomes open to the public for commerce, the presumption becomes that what is freely permissible among the public shall also be permissible there, unless and until such activity is expressly prohibited by the owner. In short—and as the Court held in its decision—the owner of a publicly-accessible property is at full liberty to exclude firearms from that property; but until such time as he does so, the presumption is that firearms are permitted. This was already the standard in most parts of the country, and, thanks in part to LP Arizona, that standard has been affirmed by the Supreme Court. I also have to say that I am extremely excited to see state parties making local and inter-state action national. Individual and community efforts gather strength at scale; and scale strengthens the impact of community-driven causes. TL; DR: Solidarity ftw.
No Libertarian Party has appeared before SCOTUS in decades except the AZLP. We won in the Wolford v Lopez case 6-3 in the Supreme Court. You can open carry in any publicly accessible place that doesn't have a no-guns sign. If you support efforts like protecting your 2A rights donate at azlp.org/donate
